DAY 7
OUDTSHOORN · KNYSNA
A leisurely start to the day before we visit the Cango Wildlife Ranch and Cheetahland. There are over 300 crocodiles and in Cheetahland the species include lion, jaguar, cougar and the cheetah itself. Following this we continue onwards to visit Knysna Oyster Farm to enjoy a tour about the production of oysters, best known for their reputed aphrodisiac powers. We arrive later in the day at the Protea Knysna Quays hotel our base for the next three nights.

To really appreciate the splendours of this area, we set sail today on Knysna's blue lagoon. Cruising on the `jewel of the garden route', our eco-experience continues when we arrive at the entrance to Featherbed Nature Reserve, which is only accessible by ferry. Here, we disembark and board a unimog-drawn trailer, which takes us to the zenith of the reserve. After experiencing awe-inspiring vistas we retire for a buffet lunch before returning to Knysna early in the afternoon. The remainder of the day is at leisure.

Another day begins as the scenic splendour of the Garden Route unfolds and we make our first stop in the Tsitsikamma National Park, where amongst the natural habitat can be found the Outeniqua Yellowwood. Continuing on to Plettenberg Bay, we have time to feast our eyes on this truly picturesque area before our visit to Monkeyland and Knysna Elephant Park.
This morning is at leisure before your holiday draws to a close and we are whisked away to Cape Town's International Airport for our direct scheduled South African Airways flight to London. OR EXTEND YOUR STAY - CALL FOR DETAILS

Arrival at London Heathrow Airport where our staff will greet you and transfer you to Titan transport for your journey home to your own front door.

This morning our anticipation heightens as we leave Knysna and follow the stunning coastline to Hermanus, where whales may be seen during the months of September to November (not guaranteed) before arriving in Cape Town. Knysna Vines & Mountains of Stellenbosch

This morning we retreat to Hout Bay, a quaint fishing village from where we take a boat cruise out to Seal Island, where we have a close encounter with these fascinating creatures. Continuing to the most south westerly point of South Africa - Cape Point, we journey 250 metres above sea level to witness the celebrated lighthouse and enjoy the stunning vistas, whilst the purity of the ocean breeze refreshes your senses. The day concludes at Boulders Beach, home to a colony of African penguins. This evening you may wish to stroll around the waterfront, which is always alive with activity.
DAY 12
CAPE TOWN
Today we head for the Townships, first visiting the District Six museum where an understanding can be gained from this multi-cultural city and its people, before continuing to Langa (the oldest formal township) and Gugulethu township, where we see the local people intricately working on their handicraft with such dexterity. We continue to a shebeen (tavern) where there is a chance to interact with the local community. The imposing backdrop of Table Mountain, flanked by Devil's Peak and Lion's Head form a natural sanctuary for the
