We are very pleased to present a wonderful tour of China's aweinspiring sights and beautiful landscapes, together with a sixnight cruise in a balcony cabin aboard the 5-star Victoria Prince on the mighty Yangtze River. Our journey begins in Beijing, where we visit the Great Wall of China, the Ming Tombs and the incredible Forbidden City. We continue to Xian, home of the incredible Terracotta Warriors, life-size sculptures protecting the emperor Qin Shi Huang. One of the many highlights are the beautiful limestone formations on the Li River at scenic Guilin, where we capture the peace and tranquillity of rural China. We then embark the Victoria Prince and take a leisurely six-night cruise on the "Long River" through the dramatic, stunning and mysterious Yangtze Gorges. Visit the amazing man-made wonder of the Yangtze River Dam, the scenic and memorable Yellow Mountains and ancient Nanjing before arriving into historic Shanghai. We then return to Beijing where we conclude our China odyssey.

DAY 1 LONDON · IN FLIGHT DAY 7 XIAN · GUILIN
We begin with Titan's VIP Home Departure ServiceTM to London Heathrow and your scheduled Air China flight to Beijing. This morning we visit the Yangling Han Tomb museum before travelling to the airport for our domestic flight to Guilin. On arrival we transfer to the Park Hotel where we stay on a bed and breakfast basis. Dinner is included this evening.

You arrive into Beijing at lunchtime and transfer to the Grand View Garden Hotel, our base for the next three nights where we stay on a bed and breakfast basis. Dinner at the hotel this evening.
DAY 8

BEIJING · GREAT WALL
After breakfast we visit the Great Wall of China, perhaps the most famous of China's many sights. Lunch is included today, and we continue to the site of the Ming Tombs where we visit the mausoleum of Changling, the tomb of emperor Zhu Di. We return to our hotel later today and this evening we go out for a traditional Peking duck dinner.
Today discover the stunning landscape and natural beauty that surrounds Guilin. The Li River provides the perfect way to see the incredible rock formations for which the region is famed. The tour includes lunch in the town of Yangshou, where you can enjoy some free time before we return to Guilin.

This morning we visit the enchanting Forbidden City, a complex of imperial palaces that were home to the Ming and Qing emperors for over 500 years. This afternoon is at leisure, you may choose to visit the serene Summer Palace shop for souvenirs, or visit the famous Hutongs. This evening we depart for a show of Chinese Martial Art.
We fly to Chongqing for a guided tour of the Old Town, traditional houses, tea-shops and Shu embroidery workshops. We then continue to the Chongqing Zoo, to see the Giant Panda, a true symbol of China. Tonight we stay at the 4-star Holiday Inn Yangtze with dinner included.

You can enjoy a free morning, perhaps making a visit to the Temple of Heaven. We transfer at lunchtime to the airport for our domestic flight to Xian. On arrival we check into the 4-star Aurum International Hotel on a bed and breakfast basis for two nights. Dinner is included this evening at the hotel.
After breakfast we transfer to the port area where we embark the Victoria Prince to commence our 6-night cruise along the mighty Yangtze River. The ship sails late this morning and we reach Fengdu later this afternoon, known as the `Ghost City'. A shore excursion here will introduce you to the plethora of demon-decorated temples, buildings and statues. Captain's Welcome Cocktail Party this evening.

After breakfast visit the incredible Terracotta Warriors, possibly the most significant and sensational archaeological excavation of the 20th century. The lifesize warriors, each with individually crafted heads and faces, and horses arranged in battle formations, are the star features. This evening we have arranged to see the famous Tang Dynasty Show, a performance of Chang'an music and dance that is treasured as a national art.
Today is without question one of the highlights of the tour, as we cruise one of nature's most extraordinary sculptures, the Three Gorges. This morning we sail through the first of these three masterpieces, Qutang Xia (Qutang Gorge), and then disembark the ship to join a boat trip along the Shennong Stream. We return to the ship at lunchtime and continue our cruise passing through the remaining two gorges, The Wu Xia (Witches Gorge) and Xiling Xia (Xiling Gorge). Early this evening we sail through the locks of the Three Gorges Dam.
