DAY 1 LONDON · LUCERNE
the Alps to the south, the city has been declared a world cultural site by the United Nations. The medieval city centre and the 11th century arcaded streets provide plenty of opportunity for sightseeing and shopping. A guided orientation tour of this historic city has been arranged to include the Cathedral of St Vincent, the Federal Palace and beautiful floral displays. Later we return to our hotel in Interlaken.
We begin with Titan's VIP Home Departure ServiceTM to London Heathrow or Gatwick Airport and your direct scheduled British Airways or Swiss flight to Zurich. On arrival we are transferred to Lucerne. Evening dinner at our hotel the Wilden Mann included.
DAY 2
LUCERNE
Often referred to as the City of Lights, Lucerne holds many attractions for its visitors from lakeside promenades to exclusive shopping, a visit to the Picasso Museum or an aerial cable car trip with revolving gondolas to the summit of Mount Titlis. Alternatively, an optional excursion to Mount Pilatus, which stands at over 7000 feet may appeal. Please see the Optional Excursion panel. Overnight at our hotel.

LUCERNE · INTERLAKEN
After breakfast we continue through more magnificent scenery as we travel west towards Montreux. Our route takes us through the exclusive resorts of Gstaad and Chateau-d'Oex and on to the famous cheese-producing town of Gruyères. We follow the shores of Lake Geneva visiting Chillon with its imposing castle sitting on a rocky islet on the lake. From here we continue to Montreux and to our hotel, Eden au Lac, for dinner.

Today we continue our lakeside extravaganza passing Lakes Alpnach, Sarnen and Lungern and on through Giswil before heading to the Brunig Pass to the Ballenberg Open-Air Museum. From here we take a boat ride on Lake Brienz to Interlaken. We continue to our hotel, the Interlaken Hotel or Hotel Metropol, for evening dinner.
DAY 7
LAUSANNE · MONTREUX
After breakfast we travel to Lausanne, where time is allowed to visit the old city with its splendid Cathedral of Notre Dame and the Chateau St Maire. Lausanne also houses L'Art Brut, one of Europe's most unusual art collections and the Olympic Museum. We return this afternoon to Montreux.

MONTREUX · ZERMATT
After breakfast we take the short drive to Lauterbrunnen where we join the Jungfrau railway to Jungfraujoch, Europe's highest railway station at an altitude of 3454 metres and with its breathtaking views of the surrounding snow capped mountains, including the impressive and majestic Eiger, an enthralling example of nature's creation. Time is allowed for sightseeing and refreshments before we commence our descent through the Jungfrau mountains to Grindelwald. Situated in a valley on the northern side of the Alps, Grindelwald is the perfect location for a relaxing stroll before returning to our hotel.
This morning we leave the shores of Lake Geneva behind and penetrate the picture postcard mountain setting. We arrive this afternoon in the delightful resort of Zermatt, where the purity of the Alpine air is enhanced by the prohibition of motorised vehicles, all deliveries being made by electric trolley or horse drawn carts. Tonight our evening meal will be served at our hotel, the Schweizerhof or the Ambassador.
