8 Days Johannesburg - Johannesburg
Day 1: Johannesburg - Kruger National Park Combine the thrill of tracking the `Big 5' with the beautiful Mozambique Island of Bazaruto for an unforgettable African experience. Fly from Johannesburg and spend the first 3 nights at Lion Sands River Lodge (see page 68). Days 2-3: Lion Sands River Lodge The Kruger National Park, with its teeming wildlife, crackling campfires and luxurious accommodation is a highlight of any holiday to Africa. Here the experienced and knowledgeable rangers will introduce you to the wonders of the bush. Day 4: Lion Sands - Indigo Bay Transfer back to the airport for your short flight to Indigo Bay Island Resort and Spa (see page 90) where you will spend the next 4 nights. Days 5-7: Indigo Bay Set on the pristine Bazaruto Island, the largest island in the Bazaruto Archipelago, the resort offers exclusive island accommodation providing the quintessential Indian Ocean holiday. Spend the days relaxing on the beautiful beaches, exploring the island, snorkelling or enjoying one of the many other activities on offer. Day 8: Indigo Bay - Johannesburg Depart Indigo Bay for a flight to Johannesburg to connect with your flight to the UK.

Days 1-6: Kenya Classic Tour This fantastic holiday combines a 7-day safari in Kenya followed by 2 nights on the beautiful island of Matemo off the coast of northern Mozambique. The first 7 days follows the same itinerary as our `Kenya Classic' on page 96 (Option C). Day 7: Nairobi - Pemba (Mozambique) Transfer to Nairobi International Airport for the short flight to Pemba in northern Mozambique, where you will spend 1 night at the Pemba Beach Hotel (see page 90). Day 8 Pemba - Matemo Island This morning you will be transferred to the magical island of Matemo where you will spend 2 nights at the Matemo Island Resort (see page 90). Day 9: Matemo Island Located in the Quirambas Archipelago, this remote and idyllic island offers unspoilt beauty, breathtaking scenery and spectacular marine life. Day 10: Matemo Island - Nairobi Early start for a transfer back to Pemba where you will board your flight home via Nairobi.

Days 1-3: Lugenda Wilderness Adventure Camp, Northern Mozambique This unique and inspiring combination allows you to explore the untouched Niassa Game Reserve in northern Mozambique before experiencing the magical island of Medjumbe. A light aircraft transfer from Pemba takes you to the vast Niassa Game Reserve which is an undiscovered 42,000 square kilometre expanse of land teeming with wildlife. Spend 3 nights at Lugenda Wilderness Camp which is situated within this reserve. Day 4: Lugenda Wilderness Camp - Medjumbe Private Island Fly to the unspoilt private island of Medjumbe for 4 nights of tropical island indulgence. Days 5-7: Medjumbe Private Island This small, intimate island is only one kilometre in length and 500 metres in width, featuring a number of small bays and coves, white-sand beaches and surrounded by the warm turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean. Spend the day snorkelling or scuba diving the colourful coral reefs surrounding Medjumbe, explore the island or simply relax next to the sparkling pool. Lugenda and Medjumbe complement each other perfectly. Day 8: Medjumbe - Pemba Transfer back to Pemba airport for your flight home.
