Set in acres of exotic gardens, this gracious hotel is a 10minute walk along the hotel's private path to the actual Falls. The hotel came into being in 1904 when the planned Cape to Cairo Railway reached the Falls and building of the Victoria Falls Hotel could begin. High ceilings and fans, long spacious hallways and the elegant Livingstone Restaurant (jacket and tie required) recreate the style of a bygone colonial era. A member of 'The Leading Hotels of the World', this is undoubtedly one of the few remaining hotels of its kind in the world.
