8 Days Arusha to Arusha
Day 4: Serengeti In the local vernacular, Serengeti means "the endless plains that reach the sky". They do just that and it is easy to understand why this is one of the great safari spectacles in Africa. Morning and afternoon game drives will certainly reveal some of its pleasures, with an abundance of wildlife to see. (BLD) Day 5: Serengeti Ngorongoro Crater A morning game drive across the vast plains is the start of your journey to another of Tanzania's unique spectacles, the Ngorongoro Crater. On arrival immediately descend into the crater for game viewing. Late afternoon ascend the crater wall and continue to your lodge which is perched on the rim of this world renowned caldera. (BLD) Overnight: Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater Tarangire After breakfast you depart Ngorongoro and drive to Mto Wa Mbu, where you will visit a local village. A leisurely stroll with a guide will take you through local homes, farmlands, resident bars, a kindergarten and a church. Following the excursion you continue to Tarangire National Park, where you will check-in for a two-night stay, enjoying a game drive en-route to your lodge located deep within the park. (BLD) Overnight: Tarangire Sopa Lodge Day 7: Tarangire Tarangire is revered for its elephant sightings, your morning and afternoon game drives will allow you to have your own wonderful encounters. (BLD) Day 8: Tarangire Arusha After breakfast, depart for Arusha arriving in time for lunch. After, visit Arusha town centre before your transfer back to Kilimanjaro Airport. (B)
Departures: Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday Day 1: Arusha You will be met at Kilimanjaro Airport and transferred to your Arusha hotel for the night. Overnight: Serena Mountain Village Day 2: Arusha - Lake Manyara Today, enjoy a morning nature walk around Lake Duluti followed by lunch. Afterwards your journey will pass picturesque African villages and up a scenic escarpment to your Lake Manyara Serena Lodge, which is perched on the edge of the Great Rift Valley with stunning views over Lake Manyara. (BLD) Overnight: Lake Manyara Serena Lodge Day 3: Lake Manyara Serengeti After breakfast spend the morning exploring and driving through Lake Manyara National Park. After lunch at your lodge, depart for the Serengeti, stopping at Olduvai Gorge for a short excursion around the museum. You then continue into the Serengeti National Park with some game viewing en-route. (BLD) Overnight: Serengeti Sopa Lodge

This tour is an exclusive private safari conducted in a 4WD safari vehicle. We have priced it based on 2 passengers, but it is possible to take up to a maximum of 6 passengers. Following a delicious lunch and time to relax you will have an afternoon game drive. (BLD) Overnight: Serengeti Sopa Lodge Day 5: Serengeti Ngorongoro Crater Today's journey will take you from the Serengeti, through the Olduvai Gorge where you stop at the museum detailing early human life, and on to the breathtaking landscape and wildlife of the Ngorongoro Crater. Due to its size and diversity, the crater floor is comprised of several distinct areas, ranging from forest, swamps, lakes and springs, to open grassland and some sandy dunes. It is an awesome wildlife experience. Late afternoon you leave the crater and drive back to the lodge for the evening. (BLD) Overnight: Ngorongoro Crater Lodge Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater to Tarangire Departing the crater after breakfast you head past Lake Manyara and onto Tarangire in time for lunch. The afternoon will be spent on a game drive as well as an exciting night drive. (BLD) Overnight: Tarangire Treetops Lodge Day 7: Tarangire A bush walk and a game drive will be the activities for today. (BLD) Day 8: Tarangire Arusha Return to Arusha for lunch and then transfers to Kilimanjaro Airport will be provided. (B)

Overnight: Arusha Coffee Lodge Day 2: Arusha Serengeti After an early flight into the Serengeti, you will be met and transferred from the airstrip to Migration Camp. After lunch, you will set out to explore the huge wilderness of the Serengeti, reputed to be one of the finest game viewing experiences in Africa.
