Tour NH
s
Day 1: Windhoek - Sossusvlei This morning you will be collected from your Windhoek accommodation. You will then experience the everchanging landscapes of this magnificent country before arriving at your lodge. Your accommodation for the next two nights is situated at the foot of towering petrified dunes of the protomorphic Namib Desert. Overnight: Namib Desert Lodge Day 2: Sossusvlei An early morning start provides an artists palette as the colours of the sands change with sunrise at Sossusvlei, a photographers dream. Explore some of the many dunes surrounding Sossusvlei and Dead Vlei, before visiting the 30-metre deep Sesriem Canyon, formed 18 million years ago by the erosive force of the Tsauchab River. This afternoon is at leisure.(B) Day 3: Sossusvlei - Swakopmund Today, travel via mountain ranges and scenic canyons to the coastal town of Swakopmund, where you will enjoy a two-night stay. En route you may be fortunate to come across Springbuck, Oryx, Ostriches and elusive Mountain Zebra. You'll also explore Vogelfederberg, an artistically eroded granite hill, before traveling via Walvis Bay and the Atlantic shore to your accommodation.
