8 Days Arusha to Arusha
Day 4: Serengeti In the local vernacular, Serengeti means the endless plains that reach the sky . They do just that and it is easy to understand why this is one of the great safari spectacles in Africa. Morning and afternoon game drives will certainly reveal some of its pleasures, with an abundance of wildlife to see.(BLD) Day 5: Serengeti Ngorongoro Crater A morning game drive across the vast plains is the start of your journey to another of Tanzania's unique spectacles, the Ngorongoro Crater. En-route you will stop at Olduvai Gorge for a short excursion around the museum, before continuing onto your lodge, where you will spend two nights.(BLD) Overnight: Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater After breakfast you will descend into the crater for some spectacular game viewing, before enjoying a relaxing lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon, you will visit a local Maasai village, where you will experience many of their customs, including traditional dance.(BLD) Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater - Tarangire Today, you will head to Tarangire, where your lodge is situated deep within this lush green national park. On arrival enjoy a delicious lunch, before heading off on an afternoon game drive.(BLD) Overnight: Tarangire Sopa Lodge Day 8: Tarangire Arusha This morning, depart for Arusha arriving in time for lunch. After, visit Arusha town centre before your transfer back to Kilimanjaro Airport. (B)
Departures: Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday Day 1: Arusha You will be met at Kilimanjaro Airport and transferred to your Arusha hotel for the night. Overnight: Serena Mountain Village Day 2: Arusha - Lake Manyara Today, enjoy a morning nature walk around Lake Duluti followed by lunch. Afterwards your journey will pass picturesque African villages and up a scenic escarpment to your Lake Manyara Serena Lodge, which is perched on the edge of the Great Rift Valley with stunning views over Lake Manyara.(BLD) Overnight: Lake Manyara Serena Lodge Day 3: Lake Manyara Serengeti After breakfast spend the morning exploring and driving through Lake Manyara National Park. After lunch at your lodge, depart for the Serengeti, with some game viewing en-route. Here you will spend the next two nights.(BLD) Overnight: Serengeti Sopa Lodge

After lunch at your lodge, the afternoon will be spent on a game drive as well as an exciting night drive.(BLD) Overnight: Tarangire Treetops Lodge Day 7: Tarangire A bush walk and a full day game drive will be the activities for today.(BLD) Day 8: Tarangire Arusha Return to Arusha for lunch and some time for shopping, before your transfer back to Kilimanjaro Airport.(B)

Overnight: Arusha Coffee Lodge Day 2: Arusha Serengeti After an early flight into the Serengeti, you will be met and transferred from the airstrip to Migration Camp, where you will spend the next two nights. After lunch, you will set out to explore the huge wilderness of the Serengeti, reputed to be one of the finest game viewing experiences in Africa.(BLD) Overnight: Migration Camp Day 3: Serengeti More of the secrets of this vast landscape will be unravelled with a morning and afternoon game drive.(BLD) Day 4: Serengeti - Ngorongoro Crater Enjoy morning game viewing through the Serengeti enroute to the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, with a stop at Olduvai Gorge on the way. Here you will enjoy an excursion around the museum and a picnic lunch. Following this excursion you will continue to Ngorongoro Crater, where you will spend the next two nights.(BLD) Overnight: The Manor at Ngorongoro Crater Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater After an early breakfast, you depart with a picnic lunch into Ngorongoro Conservation area and descend into the crater for game viewing. The day is spent exploring what is commonly referred to as the world's largest wildlife zoo.
