Sabah Wildlife Tour
4 Days Kota Kinabalu to Kota Kinabalu, Group Journey.
Departures: Daily Day 1: Kota Kinabalu Kinabalu Park Depart this morning for the picturesque Kinabalu Park. Enjoy a guided walk through the splendid nature reserve together with the park's naturalist. After an informative presentation at the park's exhibition hall you will be transferred back to Kota Kinabalu. (L) Accommodation: Shangri-La's Tanjung Aru Resort Day 2: Kota Kinabalu Selingan Turtle Island Transfer to the airport for an early morning flight to Sandakan. Take a speedboat to Selingan Turtle Island where you will overnight. Spend this afternoon at leisure and explore the island, relax in the tranquility of the surroundings, swim or snorkel in the crystal clear waters. In the evening, a park ranger will escort you to watch one of the Green Turtles that has come ashore to lay its eggs. You may also be able to assist a park ranger to release newly hatched baby turtles into the sea.(BLD) Accommodation: Island Chalet
Day 3: Selingan Sandakan Sukau This morning depart Selingan for Sandakan. Visit the OrangUtan Rehabilitation Sanctuary where you may have the chance to see the orang-utans feeding and relaxing in their rainforest habitat. Take an hour-long cruise up to the Lower Kinabatangan River Sanctuary where you will have lunch at Abai Village. Continue along the river up to Sukau in search of Proboscis monkeys, birds and other wildlife. In the late afternoon, travel down the Menanggul River.(BLD) Accommodation: Kinabatangan Riverside Lodge Day 4: Sukau Sandakan Kota Kinabalu This morning take a relaxing river cruise to Sandakan where, on arrival, you will visit the Water Village entirely built on stilts over the saltwater. Continue to a beautiful Buddhist temple with spectacular views over Sandakan Bay before lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, transfer back to the airport for your flight to Kota Kinabalu.(BL)
Accommodation on this tour is in lodges which are basic yet comfortable. On rare occasions it may only be possible to confirm a room with shared facilities on Day 2. We cannot guarantee that turtles will lay their eggs on your visit to Selingan Island.

Mount Kinabalu Climb
3 Days Kota Kinabalu to Kota Kinabalu, Group Journey.
Departures: Daily Day 1: Kota Kinabalu Kinabalu Park Pick up early morning from your Kota Kinabalu city hotel for a two-hour overland drive to the beautiful Kinabalu Park. Enjoy a guided nature walk with the park's naturalist and view an informative slide presentation at the park's exhibition hall before you visit the Mountain Garden. After a delicious lunch check into a park cabin for your overnight stay. The rest of the afternoon is free for a stroll within the park before dinner.(LD) Accommodation: Park Cabin Day 2: Mount Kinabalu After breakfast this morning, drive to the power station to commence your climb of magnificent Mount Kinabalu, at 4100m the highest mountain in South East Asia. The beautiful climb takes four to six hours to Laban Rata which
is situated at an altitude of 3,353m. It will take you from tropical luxuriance through oak forest to the rocky subalpine summit plateau, with many unique trees and flowers to be seen on the way. After a sumptuous dinner relax and enjoy the spectacular mountain landscape.(BLD) Accommodation: Laban Rata Guesthouse (dormitory style rooms) Day 3: The Summit Kota Kinabalu Wake up very early at 2am and commence your ascent to the summit by torchlight. The climb takes about three hours but is well rewarded with a beautiful sunrise at approximately 6am (weather permitting). Descend down to Laban Rata Guesthouse and then to the Power Station from where you transfer to the park's headquarters to collect your climb certificate. Enjoy a delicious lunch before transferring back to your hotel in Kota Kinabalu.(BL)
