4 Days Kuala Lumpur to Kuala Lumpur, Private Tour.
Visit the lesser-travelled east coast of Malaysia and experience its quiet sandy beaches and quaint towns, stopping enroute to meet the friendly locals and learn more about Malay traditions. Departures: Daily Day 1: Kuala Lumpur Kuala Terengganu This tour begins at Kuala Lumpur airport where you will fly on Malaysia Airlines to Kuala Terengganu on Malaysia's east coast. You will be met and transferred to the stunning Tanjong Jara Resort (see page 60) for a two night stay. Accommodation: Tanjong Jara Resort, Kuala Terengganu Day 2: At leisure Today spend your day at leisure. The Tanjong Jara Resort offers excursions to nearby attactions which you may choose to join, otherwise relax and enjoy the beach and facilities.(B) Day 3: Kuantan A short drive along the coastal road brings you to the state of Pahang where you can see Malay villages built in traditional kampong style and will have the opportunity to sample a traditional delicacy, Lemang. After stopping for lunch continue on to Kuantan where you will be taken on a short tour of the town before checking into your hotel.(BL) Accommodation: Hyatt Regency Kuantan Day 4: Elephant Conservation Centre Kuala Lumpur Visit the Elephant Conservation Centre at Kuala Gandah where you will have the opportunity to ride and bathe with the semi-wild elephants. Continue on to Kuantan airport for your flight back to Kuala Lumpur.(BL)

Taman Negara Explorer
3 Days Kuala Lumpur to Kuala Lumpur, Private Tour.
Taman Negara is home to some of the world's oldest tropical rainforest. An eco-tourist's haven, this remote national park provides sanctuary for countless species of wildlife and is home to spectacular caves, waterfalls and mountain peaks. Departures: Daily Day 1: Kuala Lumpur Taman Negara Depart Kuala Lumpur early morning for a three hour journey to Kuala Tembeling jetty to take a two hour boat ride to Kuala Tahan Park Headquarters. This evening watch a presentation of Taman Negara National Park, followed by the unique experience of a guided walk through the jungle at night.(LD) Accommodation: Taman Negara Resort Day 2: Taman Negara After breakfast choose one of two excursions on offer and spend your day exploring the tropical rainforest. Embark on a motorised canoe trip up the picturesque Tahan River tributary to the cataracts of Lata Berkoh, an excellent area for fishing and ideal for swimming. Alternatively, take a jungle trek to Teresek Hill, 1130ft above sea level, where you can view Mount Tahan, the highest mountain in Peninsular Malaysia. Enjoy a rainforest canopy walk (weather permitting), then return on a different trail passing the Lubok Simpon water hole for a well-deserved swim and a rest.(BLD) Day 3: Taman Negara Kuala Lumpur After breakfast depart by boat for your river journey back to Kuala Tembeling before continuing on to Kuala Lumpur in the late afternoon to your city hotel or the airport.(BL)

Cameron Highlands
3 Days Kuala Lumpur to Kuala Lumpur, Private Tour.
The Cameron Highlands lie at an average altitude of 1500m and offer a pleasantly cool climate, temperate rainforests, tea plantations and the flavours of life in a hill station from a bygone era. Today, terraced fruit and vegetable farms, strawberry fields and rose gardens jostle for space with rolling hills carpeted with tea. Departures: Daily Day 1: Kuala Lumpur Cameron Highlands Depart Kuala Lumpur in the early morning for a three hour journey to the Cameron Highlands, 1542 meters above sea level. Travel along mountain roads and pass beautiful highland scenery including giant tree-ferns, waterfalls and streams. In the afternoon there is free time to enjoy a stroll around the former colonial hill resort. Superior: Lakehouse Resort, Cameron Highlands Deluxe: Cameron Highlands Resort Day 2: Cameron Highlands After breakfast enjoy a half day countryside tour visiting some of the major attractions of the area including a vegetable farm, flower garden, tea plantation (closed Mondays) and the Buddhist Sampo Temple. The rest of the day is free to relax at your hotel or to explore the surrounding area.(B) Day 3: Cameron Highlands Kuala Lumpur Enjoy breakfast and a morning at leisure until you descend from Cameron Highlands by road to your Kuala Lumpur hotel or the airport.(B)
