Day 1: Arrive Bangkok On arrival in Bangkok you will be met and transferred to your chosen Bangkok hotel for a three-night stay. Standard: All Seasons Bangkok Superior: Pathumwan Princess Deluxe: Le Meridien Bangkok Day 2: City Sightseeing & Temples Thailand has over 26,000 different and often unique temples. You will be picked up at your hotel this morning to enjoy a half-day sightseeing tour, visiting three of Bangkok's most distinguished temples. Wat Traimit is the Temple of the Golden Buddha made from solid gold and weighing 505 tonnes, it is also a fine example of Sukhothai art for those who don't have time to visit this ancient city. Continue on to Chinatown stopping at Wat Pho the Temple of the Reclining Buddha, which is the largest and oldest in Bangkok. Finally, Wat Benchamabopit is the attractive Marble Temple and your last stop.
Day 3: Ayuthaya Day Tour A full day tour to Ayuthaya the former Siamese capital, 86km north of Bangkok, where the magnificent temples, palaces and crumbling fortresses provide eloquent testimony to the city's former splendour. Travel in one direction by boat to experience the sights of the Chao Phraya River (River of Kings) whilst enjoying lunch on board your cruiser and taking in the sights of Thai river life. Travel back to Bangkok by air-conditioned coach before you are dropped back at your hotel.(L) Day 4: Depart Bangkok Today you will be transferred back to Bangkok airport for your onward flight.
