Tour FIC2D This is a great way to see the highlights of Fraser Island. Another tour, the Northern Adventure, departs Mon, Wed, Fri and Sun. It offers a slightly different itinerary and is the same price. Details are available on request.
Adventure
Departures: Tues, Thurs & Sat Day 1: Hervey Bay Fraser Island An early morning start with a cruise across the Great Sandy Straits to Moon Point where you will board the waiting bus and travel through the heart of the Island, stopping to stroll through magnificent Yidney Rainforest. Travel on to Fraser Island Wilderness Retreat for a buffet lunch. After lunch visit Eli Creek, the Maheno Shipwreck, and the Coloured Sands, with ample opportunity to swim and relax before travelling north to Indian Head. The view from Indian Head is spectacular and provides an opportunity to view huge turtles, sharks, stingrays and whales (during August-November). After marvelling at the wildlife, travel to Frasers at Cathedral Beach where you will enjoy comfortable overnight accommodation in private bungalows with en suite facilities and your own private balcony. Relax, enjoy a scrumptious barbecue and get to know your fellow travellers. (LD)
Day 2: Fraser Island Hervey Bay After breakfast travel south along Seventy Five Mile beach to the deepest lake on the island, Lake Wabby. Enjoy a hike with sensational views over the white sand dunes. There is time for a quick swim before continuing on to Central Station, Fraser Island's original logging township for a picnic lunch and stroll along picturesque Wangoolba Creek to Pile Valley. Enjoy a final swim at pristine Lake Birrabeen before departing Fraser Island on a short cruise back to the mainland. (BL)

Tour 3Day Take a unique journey around Fraser Island in a comfortable, air-conditioned 4WD with a small group of like-minded travellers. This is hassle-free camping no pitching of tents and all campsites have hot and cold running water, toilets and showers. Tents are twin share, have hard floors and real beds.
Departures: Tue, Fri & Sun Day 1: Hervey Bay Frasers at Cathedral Beach, Fraser Island Following your pick-up from your Hervey Bay accommodation, cross the beautiful Great Sandy Straits by ferry. Explore the interior of Fraser Island as you travel to Lake Allom for a picnic lunch. Admire the resident turtles, visit spectacular Knifeblade Sandblow, and travel along 75 Mile Beach visiting Maheno Shipwreck, Eli Creek and the Coloured Sands before your gourmet barbecue dinner. (LD) Day 2: Fraser Island After a cooked breakfast, explore the peaceful northern regions of the island, Indian Head, Champagne Pools and Orchid Beach. There is ample time to walk, photograph and swim before a picnic lunch. The return to Frasers at Cathedral Beach is by mid-afternoon with more time to
relax, fish or hike before your evening meal. (BLD) Day 3: Fraser Island Hervey Bay Journey to Lake Wabby for a dip before lunch and then travel through the heart of Fraser island and stroll through magnificent Yidney Scrub Rainforest. There's plenty of time for a visit to Lake Garawongera for swimming, walking and birdwatching before your return to Moon Point to board the ferry to Hervey Bay. (BL)
