The Greyhound and McCafferty's coach network is the most extensive in Australia, covering the entire country. You can either purchase a kilometric pass and be free to use any route on the network upon arrival in Australia, up to the value of your pass, or if you already know your route in Australia, you can pre-purchase sector travel and rest assured that your exact itinerary is booked prior to departure from the UK.

Enjoy the freedom to explore and the flexibility to travel wherever and whenever you choose with an Aussie Kilometric Pass. You can travel up to your chosen distance. In Australia you just need to give twelve hours notice by phone to secure your seat. Pass is valid for 12 months from 1st day of travel with unlimited stopovers. Prices from £148 per person for a 2000km Aussie Kilometric Pass. Passes up to 20,000km are available, prices on request. Sector fares available on request.

12 Days Sydney - Brisbane from £208 per person (using 3000km pass)
Days 1-3: Sydney Begin your journey getting to know this fantastic and cosmopolitan harbour city. Whether your preference is for sightseeing, shopping or discovering bars and restaurants it's hard to be disappointed. A Bridgeclimb is an absolute must, the view from the top of this iconic structure is hard to beat. Explore the markets in the Rocks a wonderful way to pass the time and you may just pick that elusive gift for those back home. Days 4-6: Sydney Maitland (Hunter Valley) (175km/109miles) Travel to the beautiful Hunter Valley for two nights. This region is renowned around the world for its excellent wines. Spend your time visiting wineries, sampling the local produce and enjoying the beautiful countryside. One of the best ways to travel around here is by bicycle and your hotel will be happy to assist with suggestions on the best places to visit. Day 7-8: Maitland Coffs Harbour (497 kms/310miles) Set off for Coffs Harbour a popular seaside town where the mountains meet the sea. Set approximately mid way between Sydney and Brisbane it makes the ideal place to break your journey. Discover lovely sandy beaches, excellent restaurants, parks and walking trails. Days 9-10: Coffs Harbour - Byron Bay (254km/159miles) Head off to Byron Bay with its fabulous beaches and vibrant surf culture. Over the years Byron has attracted an eclectic collection of charters and continues to be a draw for travellers from across the globe. Spend your days on the beach, swimming, walking and enjoying the many cafés and bars. Even if you are not a surfer you cannot fail to be impressed by the skill of those riding the big waves a great sport for spectators and participants alike.

Day 11-12: Byron Bay - Brisbane (177km/110miles) Travel north to the lovely city of Brisbane. Not only gateway to all manner of fun and adventures in Southern Queensland but also a great city destination in its own right. Blessed with a benign climate and a host of wonderful gardens and parklands it's a great place to get to know. From here you might like to head off to the Gold or Sunshine Coast or perhaps continue on a longer journey to Cairns and Tropical North Queensland. Whichever you choose there are no shortage of holiday options in this marvellous country.
