This year we have introduced a new travel experience for more mature visitors looking for a holiday Down Under. The Traveller program offers itineraries that allow flexibility and free time, include the essential sights, good local restaurants, as well as the security and assistance of an expert local host in Australia. Travel with like-minded people, make new friends, and relax in the knowledge that every aspect of your holiday has been organised.
8 Day Sydney Harbour City Traveller
8 Days from £660. Locally Hosted Tour.
Get to know Sydney from a local's perspective with an itinerary packed with discovery, entertainment and a range of dining options. Enjoy a friendly group atmosphere and spend personal time as you wish with the guidance of your expert local host. Combine with the Cairns itinerary for a longer stay. Departures: Tues Day 1: Arrive Sydney Transfer to the Travelodge Wentworth Street, your accommodation for 7 nights. Tonight meet your guide and enjoy dinner at Mazzaro Restaurant. (D) Day 2: City sights and Bondi Enjoy a harbour cruise and a guided tour of the Sydney Opera House, the Sydney Tower, Darling Harbour and Bondi Beach. (BL) Day 3: The Spit and Manly Choose the longer or shorter walking option from `The Spit' to Manly before a leisurely lunch. This evening take a short stroll to Stanley Street for dinner. (BLD) Day 4: Day at Leisure Please let us know if you would like to pre-book a sightseeing tour, or enjoy a day at leisure with recommendations from your local host. (BD) Day 5: Markets and The Rocks After breakfast join your guide to explore Sydney's markets. This evening you will enjoy the Rocks Pub Tour visiting three pubs (drinks included) before dinner. (BD) Day 6: The Hunter Valley A full day tour to the Hunter Valley includes tastings at several outstanding wineries. Lunch is also included as is a visit to the Hunter Valley Gardens. (BL) Day 7: Day at Leisure Please let us know if you would like to pre-book a sightseeing tour, or enjoy a day at leisure with recommendations from your local host. (BD) Day 8: Depart Sydney Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before your transfer to Sydney Airport. (B)

Discover the delights of Cairns and Tropical North Queensland with an expert local host. This tour showcases one of the most world's unique regions, gateway to two World Heritage listed areas. Enjoy a friendly group atmosphere and your own leisure time. Departures: Tues Day 1: Arrive Cairns Transfer to The Lakes Resort & Spa, your accommodation for 7 nights. Tonight enjoy a special welcome drink and dinner. (D) Day 2: The Daintree Rainforest Join a tour of the Daintree Rainforest today. You will watch croc feeding, walk Mossman Gorge, and cruise the Daintree River. (BLD) Day 3: Skyrail and Kuranda Scenic Rail Today you will board the world famous Skyrail Rainforest Cableway to Kuranda before lunch and a return to Cairns on the famous Kuranda Scenic Rail. (BLD) Day 4: Green Island, Great Barrier Reef Travel to Green Island by luxury cruiser, relax and enjoy a guided glass bottom boat tour. Green Island is surrounded by reef, teaming with fish and colourful coral. (BD) Day 7: Atherton Tablelands and Waterfalls Join a tour of the Tablelands today, complete with cruise and a visit to the Giant Curtain Fig Tree and Millaa Millaa Falls. Enjoy a farewell dinner tonight. (BLD) Day 8: Depart Cairns Breakfast at leisure. Today you will be transferred to Cairns Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey. (B)
For both tours we recommend bringing light walking shoes, sunhat and swimwear. A moderate level of fitness and mobility is required.
