Terms & Conditions
· Minimum rental age is 21 years and a full driver's licence is required (English/International). · Drivers 75+ years of age must provide a medical certificate stating they are fit to drive for the duration of their hire. · The minimum rental period is 5 days, excluding Spirit 4 and Spirit 6 rentals, all one-way rentals, and rentals with a collection date from 15Dec08-05Jan09, for which the minimum rental period is 7 days. · One-way rentals are available between all branches. · Motorhomes may only be driven on sealed/bitumen or well maintained roads. 4WD vehicles have separate restrictions. Inclusions · Unlimited kilometres. · Vehicle insurance (excess applies). · 10% GST and administration fee. · Vehicle registration surcharge. · Taxi fare from airport to Maui branch upon vehicle collection only. Receipt must be presented for reimbursement. · Extra driver fee. · Kitchen and general equipment, (linen and bedding) and starter pack. · 10% off powered sites at all Big4 Holiday Parks. · Super Saver booklet with discounts on tourist attractions and activities. · Customer care 24-hour toll free nationwide road service helpline. · Tourist information, including maps.
Exclusions Excess & Excess Reduction Fees (see "Insurance") · Overhead and underbody sections of the vehicle (except when No Worries Cover / Maui Premium Package has been purchased). · Airport Concession Fee, for pick-ups and/or drop-offs at Hobart airport. · Transfers back to the airport / hotel. · A cleaning fee of up to AU$220 will apply if the vehicle is returned excessively dirty. · Rental extension fee of AU$150 will apply if the rental period is extended without authorisation. · Repair costs over AU$100 unless authorised. · One-way rental fee of AU$220 where rental is less than 20 days. · LGP gas bottle refills. · Change of drop-off destination while on hire. · Remote location fee of AU$450 for pick-ups/drop-offs in Broome. Insurance In the event of any damage to the vehicle or third party, the hirer will be liable for the first AU$7500. A security deposit of AU$7500 is payable at the start of the hire to cover this liability. The security deposit can be paid by credit card only and will be debited immediately incurring a fee of 1.75% (Visa/Mastercard) or 4.5% (American Express). T reduce excess and security deposit o fees, chose from the following options. We strongly recommend upgrading to the Maui Premium Package for the best value for money. Only available in the UK prior to departure. Excess Reduction Option 1: AU$20 per day (max. AU$1000) payable locally, reducing excess to AU$2500. Security deposit payable locally, AU$2500. Excess Reduction Option 2: AU$38 per day (max. AU$1900) payable locally, reducing excess to NIL. Security deposit payable locally, AU$220.
No Worries Cover Option: Purchase excess reduction option 2 and upgrade to No Worries Cover Option for AU$50 per hire payable locally, covers for accidental damage to the overhead and underbody sections of the vehicle (otherwise excluded). Security deposit payable locally, AU$220. Please note the above & below insurance details are for 2WD vehicles. Different insurance rates apply for all 4WD vehicles. Details on request.

Maui Premium Package
*Highly recommended. Only available in the UK prior to departure. Pre-book the Maui Premium Package upgrade for £20 per day in addition to the standard rates shown on the adjacent page (max £1025), for all the benefits of excess Reduction Option 2 (Nil excess), No Worries Cover Option, plus pre-purchase gas, child/booster seat if required & picnic table & chairs. Security deposit payable locally, AU$220.
