New South Wales
New South Wales is the site where Captain Cook first landed and the state attracts thousands of visitors every year. Stunning beaches, excellent surfing, beautiful scenery, impressive wineries, and of course Sydney, one of the world's favourite cities, all await you. New South Wales enjoys a warm, temperate climate and seasonal changes throughout the year. The attractions of Sydney will keep you busy for days. But be sure to allow a few days to discover beyond the city. The wine-producing regions of the Hunter Valley have definite appeal. And spend a few days if you can in the World Heritage listed Blue Mountains, before perhaps heading up the coast to fabulous Byron Bay.

ˇ Spending time in Sydney is an absolute must in any holiday itinerary but make sure you allow yourself enough time to enjoy it. Explore outside the city centre and you'll find charming districts with great cafés and restaurants as well as some truly outstanding beaches. We recommend a minimum stay of at least 4 nights. ˇ Discover Eaglereach Wilderness Resort overlooking Barrington Tops National Park. Not only will you enjoy breathtaking scenery but also get to see Australian wildlife at close quarters. This is a unique mountain top retreat and perfect for a truly relaxing break. ˇ Treat yourself to a top hotel with a harbour view, nothing is better than waking up overlooking Sydney's sparkling waters. ˇ Don't miss Byron Bay for its pretty beaches and fabulous hinterland. It's attracted an eclectic blend of characters over the years and it's this mix which makes it so charming. ˇ Give yourself the full celebrity treatment and travel by seaplane to lunch. Choose from Watson's Bay with its fabulous views across to Sydney or alternatively go a little further to Cottage Point and enjoy a fantastic scenic flight en route. ˇ If you are planning on exploring the wineries of the Hunter Valley take an organised trip, it's by far the best way to get the most out of a visit and there are no worries about driving either!

ˇ Charming Port Stephens is just a short distance from Sydney and not to be missed, the pretty marina abounds with places to eat and drink. Nothing could be nicer than sitting looking over the water enjoying fresh seafood with a glass of something cold.
