Darwin 4 Day Peppers Seven Spirit Bay Wilderness Discovery Situated in Aboriginal Arnhem Land on the Cobourg Peninsula, at the most northern tip of the Northern Territory, Peppers Seven Spirit Bay Wilderness Lodge offers 17 Tropical and 6 Premium habitats, nestled in magnificent wilderness. Departures: Daily 15Mar08-05Jan09 Day 1: Darwin ­ Peppers Seven Spirit Bay Depart Darwin (9am)* for a 45 min scenic flight to the most northern tip of the Northern Territory. Peppers Seven Spirit Bay is located on the Cobourg Peninsula overlooking the magnificent sapphire blue waters of the Cobourg Marine Park, and surrounded by the untouched beauty of Garig Gunak Barlu National Park. A special permit must be granted by the traditional Aboriginal owners to enter this land, and this will be obtained on your behalf. Enjoy three nights accommodation at Peppers Seven Spirit Bay Wilderness Lodge. (LD) Day 2: Peppers Seven Spirit Bay A vast tribal homeland to Aboriginals for over 25,000 years, this protected Arnhem Land region is a mystical environment for unique adventures, experiences and discoveries. Every day you will have activities in the wilderness; these are determined primarily by the seasons, the weather, the tides and detailed local knowledge. (BLD) Day 3: Peppers Seven Spirit Bay Trek with your guide along one of the many nature trails radiating through the diverse ecosystems in the national park, in search of animal life, bird life, manta rays and other marine life. The world's largest herd of the highly endangered banteng co-exists on the Cobourg Peninsula with buffalo, Timor ponies, sambar deer and wallabies. Guest accommodation is in nine spacious and cool safari bungalows, each with an en suite bathroom and a private deck overlooking the surrounding wilderness. Relax on your deck or in the lounge area with a book from the well stocked library. Bamurru's chef prepares delicious meals which are shared around the dining table with your fellow travellers, hosts and guides. There is no private vehicle access, private cars are left at the entrance and a member of staff will meet you on arrival. If required transfers from Darwin airport can be arranged at extra cost.
