Red Centre Camping 5 Day 4WD Red Centre Outback Experience 5 days Uluru to Alice Springs from £370 Tour SO5Y This is hassle-free camping - no pitching of tents and all campsites have hot and cold running water, toilets and showers. Tents are twin share, have hard floors and real beds. An ideal tour for those wanting to discover the real outback. Maximum 24 passengers. Adventure Departures: Daily (except Wed & Fri Nov-Jun) Day 1: Uluru (Ayers Rock) Arrive at Ayers Rock airport or resort in the morning and transfer to Yulara permanent campsite for lunch. This afternoon explore Kata Tjuta (The Olgas), before travelling to Uluru (Ayers Rock). After dinner relax under starry desert skies. (LD) Camp: Ayers Rock Resort Permanent Campsite Day 2: Yulara ­ Kings Creek After watching sunrise at Uluru, join your knowledgeable guide for a base tour, exploring ancient caves. This afternoon, travel through red sand dune & desert oak country to Kings Creek Cattle Station. (BLD) Camp: Kings Creek Permanent Campsite Day 3: Kings Creek, Kings Canyon ­ Glen Helen Visit breathtaking Kings Canyon. Hike around the canyon rim viewing sites like the Lost City and the Garden of Eden. After a picnic lunch, head off on the famous Mereenie Loop Road towards the MacDonnell Ranges. (BLD) Camp: Glen Helen Permanent Campsite Day 4: Glen Helen - Wallace Rockhole An exciting day spent exploring many of the gorges & waterholes in this area. See Ormiston Gorge, Glen Helen Gorge, Ellery Creek, Standley Chasm and more. Late afternoon end up at Wallace Rockhole Aboriginal Community and learn about Aboriginal rock art and culture. (BLD) Camp: Wallace Rock Hole Permanent Campsite Day 5: Wallace Rockhole ­ Alice Springs Real 4WD touring today through Finke Gorge National Park into Palm Valley before arriving in Alice Springs early evening. This afternoon travel through red sand dune and desert oak country to Kings Creek Cattle Station where optional activities are abundant. Tonight, try a traditional camp dinner, cooked in the coals of the fire. (BLD) Camp: Kings Creek Permanent Campsite Day 3: Kings Creek ­ Alice Springs This morning we visit breathtaking Kings Canyon. Hike around the canyon rim viewing sites like the `Lost City' and the `Garden of Eden', as well as the striking North and South Walls. There are plenty of opportunities for photos. You will return to Kings Creek Station for lunch before travelling through sand dune country as you head back to Alice Springs, arriving approx. 6.30pm.
