Broome & the Kimberley
Covering an area three times the size of England, the Kimberley region is one of the last great wilderness areas. It's a remote and rugged landscape offering ancient gorges, outback landscapes and pristine beaches. Here you can see the thousands of beehive shaped mounds of the Bungle Bungles, cruise the mighty Fitzroy River with its dramatic gorges, and marvel at the many national parks in the area. The laid-back coastal town of Broome is the gateway to the Kimberley region and world famous for its pearl industry. Relax and unwind on the soft, clean sands of Cable Beach and swim in the Indian Ocean's turquoise waters, before embarking on an incredible journey deeper into this fascinating region of Western Australia.
