Sep 10, 11*, 13, 24. *17 & 20 Day Tour Departures Day 1: Arrive Toronto Upon arrival into Toronto International Airport you will be met and transferred to your downtown accommodation, where you will spend the next three nights. Overnight: Fairmont Royal York Day 2: Toronto Sightseeing Join your Tour Director and fellow travellers this morning for a welcome reception and breakfast. Afterwards, enjoy a city tour that includes a visit to the CN Tower. The afternoon is left free for you to explore on your own. (B) Day 3: Niagara Falls Sightseeing Enjoy a full day tour to the honeymoon capital of the world - Niagara Falls. Marvel at the water as it cascades over mighty Horseshoe Falls and enjoy getting up close & personal on the `Maid of the Mist' boat ride. This evening return to Toronto for dinner. (BD) Day 4: Toronto - Ottawa Leave Toronto behind and head towards Ottawa, Canada's capital city, on a cruise of the 1,000 Islands region, scattered through the St. Lawrence Seaway. Spend the next two nights in Ottawa. (B) Overnight: Westin Hotel Day 5: Ottawa Sightseeing Partake in a city tour this morning, highlighting the main attractions of Ottawa. These include Parliament Hill, the Rideau Canal and ByWard Market. The afternoon is left free for you to do as you please. (BD) Day 6: Ottawa - Québec City The tour continues north today to the only walled city in North America, Québec City, where you will spend the next two nights. This ideological heart of French Canada is full of historical treasures from its original French and English settlers. (BD) Overnight: Loews Le Concorde Hotel Day 7: Québec City Today you can decide how you wish to spend your hours. Why not wander the winding cobbled streets and browse in boutiques, or perhaps join a sightseeing tour to the Basilica of Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré? The choice is yours. (B)

Day 8: VIA Rail to Montréal Travel in style on VIA Rail, following the route of the mighty St. Lawrence River to Montréal where you will stay for the next two nights. A sightseeing tour is included this afternoon. (B) Overnight: Fairmont Queen Elizabeth Day 9: Montréal This day is left free for you to enjoy the delights of Montréal at your own pace. Alternatively, you can join one of the `Freedom of Choice' sightseeing tours available today. (BD) Day 10: Montréal (Departure or Holland America Line Cruise) Guests on the 10-Day tour will be transferred to Montréal Airport for their onward or return flight. 17- and 20-Day guests will board the ms Maasdam for a seven-night cruise to Boston, USA. (BD) Overnight: ms Maasdam Days 11 & 12: St. Lawrence River & Saguenay Fjord Cruising Cruise the St. Lawrence River, via Québec City, and tomorrow journey into the 200-mile natural canal of the
Saguenay Fjord, home to white beluga whales, minke whales and harbour seals. (BLD) Days 13-15: Atlantic Canada Spend the next three days cruising through Canada's Atlantic provinces, with stops in Charlottetown on Prince Edward Island, and Sydney and Halifax in Nova Scotia. (BLD) Day 16: Bar Harbor, Maine (USA) Cross into the United States today and arrive into the quaint fishing town of Bar Harbor. (BLD) Day 17: Boston Guests on the 17-Day tour will disembark the ship and be transferred to the airport for their onward or return flight. Those guests on the 20-Day tour will be transferred to Boston's Back Bay area hotel for an overnight stay. A hopon/hop-off Old Town Trolley tour is also available. (B) Overnight: The Lenox Hotel Days 18 & 19: VIA Rail to New York City Board the Amtrak Acela Express for your journey to the `Big Apple' today. Enjoy lunch on board (included) watching picturesque countryside pass you by. Tomorrow a hopon/hop-off GrayLine tour has been included for you to use at your own pace and explore the sights of this fantastic and vibrant city. (B) Overnight: Sheraton New York Day 20: Depart New York City Your tour comes to an end once you have checked-out of your hotel and transferred to the airport for your flight home. (B)
