These experts boast years of experience as naturalists and educators, many having worked with organisations such as the World Wildlife Fund, and they've invariably lived and travelled all over the globe. Small Ships
Each of Cruise West's nine small ships is ideally suited to their up-close, casual and personal style of cruising. Their shallow drafts, small size and skilled crew give you access to places larger ship cruising cannot, and while all are designed to put you right in the heart of the `action', depending on your destination, you may have a choice of styles to choose from. Each has its own distinct personality and is suited to the itinerary it has been selected for. Whilst onboard, informality is the way forward, and you'll notice that the public areas are spacious with access to the bow area for the best views! At the end of each day you can retreat to your private stateroom which, depending on the ship, range from comfortable inside cabins to spacious suites with private balconies.
