8 Days Montréal - Montréal
Departures: Daily (14May08-02Oct08) Day 1: Arrive Montréal Pick up your hire car from the Alamo depot at Montréal's International Airport, before making your way to your downtown hotel for an overnight stay. This evening is at leisure for you to make the most of this cultural and elegant city. Days 2 & 3: Montréal Québec City (156 miles) Leaving the metropolis of Montréal behind, travel further into the French-speaking province of Québec, following the shores of the St. Lawrence River to charming Québec City. Tomorrow is yours to explore what lies behind the impressive walls that ring the city and discover its rich history. Later, see the city from the deck of a boat as you cruise along the shoreline (included). Day 4: Québec City L'Ile-aux-Coudres (72 miles) On leaving Québec City stop at the spectacular Montmorency Falls before you traverse the beautiful mountains of the Charlevoix Region. A ferry ride across the St. Lawrence River, to arrive at L'Ile-aux-Coudres, is a fine way to end the day. Day 5: L'Ile-aux-Coudres Saguenay Region (159 miles) En-route to Chicoutimi in the scenic Lac-St-Jean region, is pretty Tadoussac, a UNESCO Heritage Site at the confluence of the Saguenay Fjord and the St. Lawrence River. As you follow the Fjord inland, take a stroll at SaintRose-du-Nord on one of the hiking trails. Days 6 & 7: Saguenay Region St. Alexis-desMonts (275 miles) Head south to the dense forests of St. Alexis-des-Monts

where you will spend the next two nights and, where wildlife and nature outnumber towns and people. Here in the forest, enjoy walking, mountain-biking, boating, canoeing, windsurfing and much more. All-terrain vehicle tours, fishing, water-skiing, golf and sea-plane flights are also available at an extra cost. Day 8: St. Alexis-des-Monts Montréal (150 miles) Take a leisurely drive back to Montréal and return your car to the Alamo depot in time for your return flight home.

13 Days Halifax - Halifax
Departures: Mondays (01May08-31Oct08) Day 1: Arrive Halifax Arrive into Nova Scotia's provincial capital today and make your way to the Alamo depot at Halifax Airport. Spend the evening discovering this attractive city. Days 2 & 3: Halifax - Baddeck (227 miles) Leave Halifax and drive north to Pictou, rich in Scottish heritage, then continue on to Cape Breton Island and Baddeck via the Canso Causeway. Spend the next day traversing the famous Cabot Trail around rocky headlands and ascending to the incredible plateaux of Cape Breton Highlands National Park. Days 4 & 5: Baddeck - Gros Morne National Park (285 miles, not including ferry crossing) Depart Baddeck early this morning and drive to North Sydney where you will take a ferry across to Port-aux-Basques on Newfoundland. Upon arrival, head north to Gros Morne. Tomorrow you will have a full day to enjoy the marvellous splendours of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Included is a cruise of the Western Brook Pond on a Fjord Boat Tour. Days 6-8: Gros Morne National Park - Notre Dame Bay - Trinity Bay (236 miles) Depart the superb scenery of Gros Morne for an overnight stay in the tranquil surrounds of Notre Dame Bay. On Day 7, travel onward via Terra Nova National Park to Trinity Bay, considered to be the cultural and architectural capital of Newfoundland, where you will spend the next two nights. Days 9 & 10: Trinity Bay - St. John's (130 miles) Journey to the oldest city in North America, St. John's. A city tour has been included for you here tomorrow, so also has a cruise from Bay Bulls around the ecological reserve at

Witless Bay - the waters here are home to a large population of Humpback whales. Days 11 & 12: St. John's - Dundee - Halifax (230 miles, not including ferry crossing) Have an early start this morning to make the 15-hour ferry crossing to North Sydney. Upon arrival, make the short journey to Dundee, located in the Bras d'Or Lake area, for an overnight stay. Tomorrow, spend some time exploring before continuing on via the Canso Causeway to Halifax. Day 13: Halifax Departure Your tour ends when you drop your car back to the Alamo rental depot at Halifax Airport.
