During your stay in Kamloops enjoy an evening of food and entertainment at one of Rocky Mountaineer's evening entertainment shows. The Two River Junction Experience brings you back to the days when Kamloops was a true outpost, whilst the Great Canadian Lumberjack Show is a comical look at one of the icons of the Western Canada lifestyle. RedLeaf: £37 per adult, £27 per child (2-11yrs). GoldLeaf: £27 per adult, £17 per child (2-11yrs).
Whistler Mountaineer
Departures Daily 23Apr0819Oct08 The Whistler Mountaineer is a one-way or return train excursion between Vancouver and Whistler. Journey along the route of the Sea-to-Sky Highway following the scenic coast of Howe Sound, and link these two superb destinations for a fantastic twin-centre holiday. Alternatively, use the Whistler Mountaineer as a way of joining up with the new Fraser Discovery Route on the Rocky Mountaineer between Whistler and Jasper (see page 25). Two levels of service are available, the Coast Classic and the Glacier Dome which boasts panoramic views from full-length dome windows. Coast Classic from £56 per adult, £30 per child (one way). Glacier Dome from £93 per adult, £67 per child (one way).
Travelling in the comfort of Rocky Mountaineer's RedLeaf service is an experience as memorable and enjoyable as the stunning scenery that will captivate you on your twoday journey. Relax and enjoy true comfort in an air-conditioned, smoke-free environment, where you can stroll along your train car and converse with fellow travellers, or recline in your seat and watch the rivers run, the mountains rise and `Great Outdoors' soothe your soul. Chilled lunches and breakfasts are served at your seat by the experienced and knowledgeable onboard attendant, offering local dishes and a choice of alcoholic (at a charge) and non-alcoholic drinks.

To travel in GoldLeaf is to travel in a style reminiscent of the Victorian gentry for whom these tracks were laid a century or so ago, but with the 180 degree views you will have from your seat in the `Dome Coach'. Step aboard your air-conditioned, smoke-free, `Dome Coach' and immerse yourself in luxury. Enjoy the companionship of your fellow travellers either inside or out, as the `Dome Coach' offers a vestibule for you to step outside to get closer to nature! Below the `Dome Coach' is the dining car. Gourmet menus vary, but don't miss the scrambled eggs with smoked salmon for breakfast, and wash down a lunch of succulent Alberta beef with some of the fine wines stocked on board.
