Vancouver
Vancouver is a young, friendly city whose natural charms lie in close, convenient proximity to each other. Set in spectacular surroundings, with the majestic Coastal Mountains, evergreen forests and Pacific Ocean as its background, it is the largest city in the province of British Columbia. Days can be spent shopping on chic Robson Street or exploring the funky artistic hotspot of Granville Island with its bustling public market. Downtown Vancouver is an easily walkable city, and to get from one side to the other takes about 25 minutes. Other ways to get around include a comprehensive bus network, the Skytrain and the Seabus, which links downtown to North Vancouver, home to a charming farmers' market.

One of the best ways to experience Stanley Park is to hire a bike and cycle around the 5.5 mile seawall. Attractions in Stanley Park include the Vancouver Aquarium, a collection of totem poles and an open-air pool.

Take a gondola to Grouse's peak and meet grizzly bear cubs. Built in 1889, the Capilano Suspension Bridge, rising 70 metres above the Canyon, enjoys beautiful rainforest scenery and a historic Totem Park.
