Vancouver
Vancouver is a young, friendly city whose natural charms lie in close, convenient proximity to each other. Set in spectacular surroundings, with the majestic Coastal Mountains, evergreen forests and Pacific Ocean as its background, it is the largest city in the province of British Columbia. Days can be spent shopping on chic Robson Street or exploring the funky artistic hotspot of Granville Island with its bustling public market. Allow time to visit Vancouver's array of museums plus the Gastown, Yaletown and Chinatown districts. Alternatively, you may wish to walk, roller-blade or cycle around the 1000-acre Stanley Park wilderness. By night Vancouver offers an eclectic mix of restaurants, theatre shows and operas, as well as trendy bars and hip nightclubs.

Grouse Mountain & Capilano Suspension Bridge
Take a gondola to Grouse's peak and meet grizzly bear cubs. Built in 1889, the Capilano Suspension Bridge, rising 70 metres above the Canyon, enjoys beautiful rainforest scenery and a historic Totem Park. While you can access the area by ferry to North Vancouver and then a bus, we recommend our sightseeing tour. See opposite for details.
