Victoria and Vancouver Island Vancouver Island is the largest island on Canada's west coast, stretching 350 miles from Victoria to Port Hardy. It is also home to BC's provincial capital, Victoria. Crossing time is just over one and a half hours, and prices start from CA$65 for a car and 2 adults one way. The ferry crossing from Tsawwassen to Swartz Bay is the most convienient if you are travelling to Victoria, if you are travelling to the rest of Vancouver Island the crossing from Tsawwassen to Nanaimo would provide the better option. If you don't have a rental car we can offer a pre-booked coach and ferry transfer, from downtown Vancouver to downtown Victoria. Prices are £26 per person one way.
