Big Wild Goose Pagoda and City Walls
Duration 4 hours, daily (min 2 pax). An enjoyable morning tour visiting the Big Wild Goose Pagoda which was built in the 7th Century. Now the symbol of Xian city, the pagoda stands in the grounds of the former Temple of Great Maternal Grace, a peaceful site to the south of the city. Proceeding to Big Wild Goose Pogoda the city walls which extend in a rectangle for an impressive 14 km. Although the walls have disappeared in places much has been carefully renovated. There will also be a chance to wander round the atmospheric Muslim Quarter. Prices from £24 per person

The Grand Mercure Renmin Square is a heritage hotel, first opened in 1957 and located within Renmin Square close to Xian's many tourist attractions. The hotel reflects the Sino Russian style of architecture which is steeped in revolutionary history. All guestrooms have recently been refurbished to a high standard. Located in the grounds of Renmin Square in the heart of the commercial and government district, this hotel opened in 2004 and is situated just minutes away from the major shopping centres and cultural sites and therefore ideal for exploring the city and its attractions. Guests can dine at the hotel's international restaurant or venture further afield and try the restaurants in either of the sister hotels - Grand Mercure and Sofitel on Renmin Square, both of which are close by. Terracotta Warriors, Grand Mosque, Big Wild Goose Pagoda
Duration 8 hours, daily (min 2 pax) Visit the incredible Terracotta Army, numbering over 8000 figures of warriors and horses each over 2000 years old. Discovered as late as the 1970's the warriors have been beautifully preserved. Return back to Xian city to enjoy a delicious local dumpling lunch Stone Memorial Gateway, Grand Mosque that Xian is famous for before exploring the unique Muslim quarter and its centre-piece the Grand Mosque.
