Departures: Daily Day 1-3: Lijiang On arrival into Lijiang you will be met and transferred to the Banyan Tree Lijiang. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Lijiang is set in a beautiful valley and offers a charming market town with small cobbled streets, old wooden buildings and gushing canals. During your stay explore the Black Dragon Pool Park, with magnificent views of Dragon Snow Mountain. Other local attractions include the Old Market Square and Mu Family Mansion. Your accommodation, Banyan Tree Lijiang, is one of the world's most stunning spa resorts and located only 15 minutes from the centre of town. Day 4: Lijiang Tiger Leaping Gorge Shangri-La On day 4 transfer from Lijiang to Banyan Tree Rhinga in Zhongdian, also known as Shangri-La. Make a stop enroute at Tiger Leaping Gorge where the mighty Yangtze River rushes through one of the deepest gorges in the world. Day 5-7: Shangri-La Spend your days in this beautiful region relaxing at the resort and venturing out to see the local sights. Perhaps take an optional tour to Songzanlin Monastery or join one of the many treks offered by the resort. On day 7 depart to Diqing airport for your onward flight. Prices per person from £769 share twin. Including 6 nights accommodation with daily breakfast, transfers to from hotel/airport and between hotels with stop at Tiger Leaping Gorge, 1 x 90 minute spa treatment per person in each resort.
