Sapa Experience
5 Days Hanoi to Hanoi.
Departures: Saturdays Day 1: Hanoi- Lao Cai This evening meet your local tour guide and transfer to the train station in Hanoi to catch the overnight train to Lao Cai. Travel will be in air-conditioned, shared four-berth sleepers. Accommodation: Ratraco Train Day 2: Sapa On arrival at Lao Cai you will be met for the 35 km drive up to Sapa, passing spectacular mountain scenery. Experience dawn in Asia with a stroll through the main streets and its bustling local market. After breakfast visit Ta Phin Village home to the colourful Red Dzao ethnic minority. The rest of the day is at leisure. (B) Accommodation: Chau Long Sapa Hotel Day 3: Sapa and nearby villages After breakfast drive south towards Muong Hoa Valley and walk through the stunning terraced rice fields. Visit the
village of Lao Chai and then on to Ta Van Village meeting the ethnic minorities which live there. Observe the daily life and traditions of these people before returning to Sapa in time for lunch. (B) Day 4: Coc Ly Market Leave Sapa early this morning for Coc Ly Market where colourful ethnic minority people such as Flower H'mong and Dzao Tuyen gather to buy and sell their wares. After enjoying a local lunch, travel by boat downriver and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Transfer back to Lao Cai train station to catch the overnight train back to Hanoi. (B) Day 5: Sapa-Hanoi On arrival you will be transferred to either your Hanoi hotel or the airport.

Saigon to Phnom Penh
4 Days Saigon to Phnom Penh, Independent Tour.
Departures: Daily Day 1: Saigon Can Tho This morning depart from bustling Saigon and travel south in to the tranquil Mekong Delta region. Sit back and take in the views of Vietnam's agricultural heartland, with farmers tending their fields and trading their products by the road. On arrival in to the small town of Can Tho, check in to your french colonial style hotel situated on the banks of the Mekong River and spend the afternoon relaxing by the pool or exploring the local area. Accommodation: Victoria Can Tho Day 2: Can Tho Wake early to catch the morning floating market at nearby Cai Rang, viewing the fascinating spectacle of local farmers' boats stacked high with produce as they go about their daily trading as they have done for centuries. Continue on to a local fruit orchard down one of the many small canals and sample some of the many tropical fruits grown in this region. The rest of the day is at leisure. (B)
Day 3: Can Tho - Chau Doc This morning drive deeper in to the Mekong Delta region and visit a local village to view the art of basket weaving. Continue west towards the Cambodian border, and the riverside town of Chau Doc. Take a short boat ride to see a floating fishing village and a Cham ethnic minority village. Finish the day with a climb up the sacred Sam Mountain to view the spectacular sunset. (B) Accommodation: Victoria Chau Doc Hotel Day 4: Chau Doc - Phnom Penh This morning board the boat from Chau Doc to travel along the Mekong River and over the Cambodian border in to Phnom Penh. On arrival at Phnom Penh pier your tour will finish. We recommend booking sightseeing options during your stay in Phnom Penh (please ask for further details) or taking the short flight on to Siem Reap to explore the magical Temples of Angkor (see page 92).
