Hua Hin
Located on the North-Western coast, Hua Hin is Thailand's original beach resort and is still popular as a relaxing getaway for locals and tourists alike. Steeped in character, Hua Hin and the neighbouring town of Cha-am not only offer long stretches of golden sands but are also home to one of Thailand's best night markets, championship golf courses, a yearly elephant polo competition and King Rama VII's Summer Palace. The cultural Petchaburi with its many Buddhist temples, the River Kwai and Kanchanaburi are within easy reach for day excursions. Another attraction of Hua Hin is its close proximity to Bangkok, easily accessible via a direct Highway and just 190km away.
