Chile's vibrant capital, Santiago, has a warm Mediterranean climate and a relaxed European atmosphere. Impressive modern skyscrapers sit side-by-side with historic colonial architecture and government palaces; whilst stylish shopping malls and cinema complexes dominate the commercial district of Providencia. Wherever you are in Santiago, the snow-capped Andes soar above you and spectacular sunsets turn the snow pink before revealing the lights of the ski resorts. Just outside the city, you can discover the colourful and cultural port of Valparaiso, recognised by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, plus the beach resort of Viña del Mar and the world-class vineyards of the Colchagua Valley.

Day 1: Arrive Santiago & City Sightseeing On arrival at Santiago Airport you will be met and transferred to your chosen hotel for your three-night stay. This afternoon, enjoy a sightseeing tour of Santiago. Standard: Galerias Hotel Superior: Hotel Plaza San Francisco Deluxe: The Ritz-Carlton Day 2: Vineyard Excursion Today, visit the unforgettable central valleys, the most important wine-producing area of Chile. Enjoy wine tasting either at one of the world-famous vineyards, such as Concha y Toro, or at the smaller estate of Vina Aquitania. Day 3: Santiago at Leisure A free day to explore this intriguing city, where there is certainly plenty to see and do. Alternatively you may wish to enjoy an optional sightseeing tour to Viña del Mar and Valparaiso (see opposite for prices and details).
Day 4: Depart Santiago Transfer back to the airport for your onward flight.
