Here you can feel the presence of the past as you are pampered with every luxurious and modern comfort that you would expect to be associated with an Orient Express Hotel. Spend a relaxed afternoon getting accustomed to the altitude, and a wonderful evening acquainting yourself with Cuzco. Overnight: Orient Express Monasterio, Cuzco Day 2: Cuzco - The Sacred Valley This morning, your private guide and driver will meet you at your hotel for your VIP tour into the Sacred Valley. Your first stop is at Pisac's famed market which draws many sellers in the typical dress of remote Peruvian villages who come to sell handicrafts and local produce. After lunch, continue to Ollantaytambo, a charming village where the imposing ruins of a massive Inca temple fortress cling to the valley walls. There will be plenty of time to explore the fortress before finishing the day at the luxurious Casa Andina Private Collection, a delightful hotel in the heart of the Sacred Valley. Brunch is served on board as the train passes through unsurpassed scenery along the course of the Urubamba River. On arrival at the town of Aguas Calientes it is just a 30-minute drive to the entrance of Machu Picchu.
