Home to a fantastic variety of wildlife, including penguins, sea lions and whales, as well as many unique native plants, Patagonia is sure to fascinate visitors with a sense of adventure and a love of the outdoors, who can lose themselves among its vast open spaces. 4 Day Discover the Valdés Peninsula Departures: Daily Day 1: Trelew  Puerto Madryn On arrival at Trelew Airport you will join a tour to Punta Tombo Penguin Rookery, 120km from Trelew, which can be home to over half a million Magellanic penguins and their chicks, plus cormorants, giant petrels and oystercatchers. Overnight in the resort of Puerto Madryn. Overnight: Península Valdés Day 2: Valdés Peninsula Enjoy a full-day visit to the Valdés Peninsula, 100km from Puerto Madryn on the South Atlantic coast, and originally inhabited by settlers from Wales. You will appreciate the outstanding natural habitat of the elephant seals, sea lions and the thousands of sea birds which have made the peninsula their home. Your tour continues with a two-night stay at the Faro Punta Delgada, a remote lighthouse on the peninsula's southeastern tip. In the evening, watch the wild seascape while enjoying Patagonian speciality dishes and a selection of quality wines in the hotel restaurant, or play a few games of pool in the naval-themed pub.(BLD) Overnight: Faro Punta Delgada Day 3: Valdés Peninsula Today, choose from a range of complimentary excursions on offer at the hotel, including horse riding, guided flora and fauna walks, and elephant seal observations. Relax this afternoon or explore the bustling town. Overnight: Hotel Edelweiss Day 2: 'Small Circuit' Sightseeing Tour This morning, enjoy the classic three-hour 'Small Circuit' sightseeing tour. Leaving Bariloche, head west along the shore of Lake Nahuel Huapi. A seven-minute chairlift ride can then be taken to Cerro Campanario for some of the best views in the region. From here, the landscape changes into lush temperate rainforest and the tour continues past Lake Moreno and the sheer face of Mount López. Enjoy fantastic views of the lakes and islands before heading back to Bariloche for an afternoon at leisure.
