Pre-booked
Accommodation can be pre-booked, with one pass covering multiple nights. We strongly recommend prebooking your first night and stays over peak travel periods (November-February, holidays and sporting events) to avoid disappointment. Open-dated
For complete flexibility, accommodation can be purchased on open-dated vouchers. Choice open-dated passes are valid for an entire season of travel. Just exchange them locally for accommodation selected from the Choice directory that we provide. You, or your hotel, make onward telephone reservations to secure your next room.

Our team will be happy to advise when planning your trip. Days 1-2 Auckland Enjoy this cosmopolitan city with its lovely harbour, shops and cafés. Spend the night at the Quality Inn West End, Grey Lynn. Days 3-4 Auckland - Paihia - Auckland Set out and drive towards Auckland's north shore. Don't miss Whangearei Falls on the way. The town of Paihia makes a convenient base for exploring the Bay of Islands. Stay overnight at the Edgewater Palms, Paihia. Days 5-6 Auckland - Rotorua Travel south to Rotorua which sits in the Pacific Ring of Fire. Explore the geothermal areas and discover the unique culture of New Zealand's Maori people. Spend the night at the Quality Resort Heritage, Rotorua. Days 7-8 Rotorua - Taupo Enjoy the volcanic landscape en route to Taupo.
