The second largest of the Hauraki Gulf Islands, Waiheke boasts a subtropical climate, native forests and a beautiful 100km coastline. Here the locals escape Auckland's hustle and bustle. It's a great place to explore by foot, mountain bike or sea kayak. Waiheke is renowned for its burgeoning wine industry, with over thirty boutique vineyards. Only a 35minute scenic ferry crossing from downtown Auckland, Waiheke is perfect for a day trip, but we do recommend a one or two night stay.

With its beautiful beaches, native bush, vineyards, olive groves and laidback seaside villages, Waiheke is the ideal place to relax and unwind. On arrival you will be transferred to your chosen accommodation and the rest of the day is yours to explore as you wish. Return to your chosen hotel for a relaxing evening. Day 4: Waiheke Island - Auckland Relax this morning before taking the return ferry back to Auckland. Alternatively, you can take a helicopter transfer from the island and enjoy spectacular views en route. (extra cost, prices on request)
