Fiordland
Fiordland National Park is characterised by steep, jumbled topography, rugged coastline, dense rainforest and a challenging climate. The exceptional beauty of the landscape has led to the region being recognised as one of the world's greatest wilderness areas. An ideal way to experience this vast and remote region is by taking an overnight cruise on the fiords of Milford or Doubtful Sound. If time permits, seeing them both and walking in this wonderful area is truly sensational. Te Anau is the gateway to the fiords and enjoys a wonderful setting. From here you can board either of our overnight cruises featured on the next page. The views of the lake and surrounding mountains are absolutely awesome.
