Yosemite & Beyond
Yosemite National Park is the jewel of the Californian wilderness, where waterfalls, dense forests, winding rivers and an array of wildlife transport visitors from the 21st century to a time when explorers first visited this land of unrivalled beauty. South of Yosemite, discover the adjacent Sequoia National Park, featuring some of the world's most incredible natural sights including giant redwoods that tower high into the sky. Both Mammoth Lakes and the brilliantly blue Lake Tahoe sit high in the Sierra Nevadas, and both boast great winter skiing and a host of outdoor activities during the summer. Finally, Death Valley, at 282 feet below sea level, is one of the hottest places on earth and will leave you mesmerised with its awesome landscape and everchanging colourscapes.
