Explore the city on your own or simply relax until boarding time when you will be treated to an exclusive wine tasting as you cruise by the San Francisco skyline. Following a delicious dinner, relax in the lounge and acquaint yourself with your fellow travellers. (D) Overnight: Spirit of Yorktown Day 2: Napa Valley Explore the world-renowned Napa Valley. Taste and learn as you discover the science and artistry of winemaking or take an optional Napa Valley hot air balloon tour (payable locally). Stop in lovely St. Helena, where you can explore the shops and savour an inclusive tasting at Merryvale Winery. Enjoy a three-course lunch in the cave theatre at Clos Pegase. This exclusive Cruise West luncheon includes a vineyard tour and wine tasting. In addition to producing excellent wines, Clos Pegase is well known for their extensive art collection and the fluid architecture of Michael Graves. Once back onboard the Spirit of Yorktown, enjoy a leisurely cocktail hour with featured wines followed by a
delicious dinner. Please note winery selection and order is subject to change. (BLD) Day 3: Sonoma Valley Today enjoy the rustic charm at Benziger Winery before boarding a private tractor-pulled tram for a ride through the vineyards and an up-close experience of the vines. Lunch today is served at Viansa Winery & Italian Marketplace. Enjoy the superb views and browse through the Tuscan marketplace after lunch and a tasting. Your day finishes in style with a reception at Domaine Carneros, associated with the famous Tattinger family, the notable producers of impressive Carneros sparkling wines. After your vineyard tour enjoy a sparkling wine tasting while relaxing on the beautiful outside terrace that overlooks the Carneros landscape. Back onboard, delight in the Captain's Farewell Dinner this evening. (BLD) Day 4: Depart San Francisco Appreciate the early morning views as you cruise in to Redwood City for disembarkation. A coach transfer is included to either San Francisco's airport for your flight home or to Cruise West's hospitality area at Fisherman's Wharf if you are extending in San Francisco. (B)
