Eastern USA
From the energy of New York to the serenity of the Vermont mountains, the East Coast offers something for everyone. You can sail the Great Lakes or take a roadtrip through New England, and with cities such as Boston, Washington DC, Chicago and Philadelphia, it also boasts some of the world's greatest metropolises.
Deep South
Amid the Deep Souths diverse geography you'll find elegant plantation houses, glorious golf courses and pleasant towns. But for many its the music that embodies the region: jazz and blues in New Orleans; country and western in Nashville; and, of course, rock n roll in Memphis you can even pop into Elvis house.
Florida
The fun-filled Sunshine State has long been a favourite holiday destination, and its easy to see why. For kids big and small, the theme parks of Orlando are non-stop fun and the stunning beaches of the Gulf Coast are just as enjoyable. In Miami you can live it up on South Beach or hang around the bars of Little Havana. Further south, the Florida Keys are a perfect place to laze the day away.
California
California Americas Golden State is the countrys most diverse state and arguably the most fascinating. With the eternal glamour of Los Angeles and the style of San Francisco, any cityslickers will be more than satisfied. But if wide open spaces are more your thing, youll find plenty amid the dramatic rock formations of Yosemite and along the sweeping roads of the Pacific Coast highways.
Las Vegas and Beyond
Las Vegas is an explosion of lights, energy and entertainment there is nowhere else like it on earth. And although you might not make your fortune in the outlandish casinos, youre sure to have a lot of fun. Nearby, the ranches of Arizona give you a taste of another, equally enthralling, side of the USA.
Pacific Northwest
It may not be as well-known as other regions but the Pacific Northwest is no less beautiful. Nestled between the Cascade Mountains and Puget Sound, Seattle is one of the countrys most fashionable cities, while Portland is known as The City of Roses thanks to its many rose gardens. Elsewhere in Oregon and Washington youll find a beautiful coastline, great walking, vast rivers and the incredible Crater Lake National Park.
National Parks
One of the wonders of the natural world, the Grand Canyon is a truly special sight. But it is just one of the fabulous national parks of the West. Yellowstone National Park is a vast wilderness of forest and spouting geysers and Badlands National Park is worth visiting for the name alone. Elsewhere Bryce Canyon, Rocky Mountain and Zion National Parks each offer something unique.

Hawaii
Hawaii is an American state unlike any other. Oahu is home to fun-packed Waikiki beach and an unrivalled choice of shops, bars and restaurants; Kauai is an untouched wilderness; Maui has great golfing and natural spas; and Big Island, with its flowing lava and rainforests, is a must for nature-lovers.
