YOUR ITINERARY DAY 1 - Depart on your scheduled flight to Toronto. On arrival transfer to your hotel for your two night stay. DAY 2 - Situated on the northern shores of Lake Ontario,Toronto is a city of contrasting modern and Victorian architecture, dominated by the 1,815ft high CN Tower, the world's tallest free standing structure. A morning sightseeing tour is included featuring the Sky Dome, the first domed stadium with a fully retractable roof, and the City Halls and Parliament Building. A stop will be made at the CN Tower where you can take an optional ride to the top for a terrific view of the city and Lake Ontario. DAY 3 - Transfer to the railway station for the train to the mighty Niagara Falls. The journey will take approximately two hours. From the surrounding exquisitely landscaped gardens, the view of Niagara Falls is one of the greatest sights in the New World. Situated some 80 miles south-east of Toronto, the falls are divided into two parts � the Canadian and American Falls. The Canadian Falls are the larger, 180ft high with a crest of 2,200ft, forming a curve known as the Horseshoe Falls. For the most dramatic close-up view you can don special waterproofs and ride the boat `Maid of the Mist' close to the thundering waters (operates mid May to mid October). Overnight stop in the Niagara area. DAY 4 - Early morning transfer to the station for the train to New York. The journey will take approximately 10 hours. Upon arrival transfer to your hotel for a two night stay. New York is irresistible � a truly 24 hour city! You can also take a cruise around Manhattan, see Harlem, visit the Statue of Liberty, or even enjoy a helicopter ride over the famous skyline. Alternatively, you can stroll down Fifth Avenue and admire the shops, or take a hansom cab ride in Central Park. For your evening entertainment, there are the many Broadway shows to choose from and, of course, New York is renowned for the variety of its restaurants. DAY 5 - Morning included sightseeing tour of New York city. Our tour will take you from Midtown to Battery Park and back, featuring Broadway, Times Square, the Empire State Building, Greenwich Village, Chinatown, the Bowery and Wall Street. Rest of the day free. Various exciting optional excursions will be available during your stay. DAY 6 - Free in New York until a late afternoon transfer to the airport for your return flight to the UK.
