Stunning Cape Cod, on the west coast of America, is a superb holiday destination, and the ideal starting point for this wonderful tour. Visit historic Plymouth as you make your way around this beautiful Bay, before moving on through cosmopolitan Boston to Lincoln, from where you will visit the captivating White Mountains. This tour offers excellent value for money and is a great introduction to New England. YOUR ITINERARY DAY 1 - Depart on your scheduled flight to Boston. On arrival transfer to your hotel in Hyannis, Cape Cod for a four night stay. DAY 2 - Today you will travel to the historic town of Plymouth, where pilgrims first landed in 1620. Take an included tour of the fascinating Plimoth Plantation, a living history village that recreates the 1627 village built by the Pilgrim Fathers and Native Americans. It is also the home to Mayflower II, a replica of the ship that carried the pilgrims across the Atlantic, built in the 1950s in England and then sailed across the Atlantic in 1957. This evening take the optional sunset clambake cruise, where you will see spectacular views of Cape Cod Bay and rolling sandy dunes of Sandy Neck whilst enjoying a relaxing dinner that includes freshly caught local lobster. DAY 3 - Enjoy an included tour of scenic Cape Cod today, travelling north to the busy fishing port of Provincetown. Why not climb the 252ft granite Pilgrim Monument for a fantastic view of the entire Cape? There is also the option to take a whale watching cruise today, where you could see humpback, minke and fin whales, as well as pods of dolphins. DAY 4 - Today there is an included excursion to the island of Martha's Vineyard, south of Cape Cod and popular with the rich and famous. You will take the ferry to the busy port village of Vineyard Haven, before continuing to Oak Bluffs, with its `Gingerbread Cottages' and the picturesque former whaling port of Edgartown. DAY 5 - Today you will leave beautiful Cape Cod behind you and head to Boston, where you will enjoy an included city tour.
