Common, the oldest city park in the United States, before stopping for a seafood lunch at historic Quincy Market (not included). This afternoon you will continue to Lincoln. On arrival transfer to your hotel for a three night stay. DAY 6 - Enjoy a full day included tour of the beautiful White Mountains. You will travel through Franconia Notch State Park on your way to Cannon Mountain, with its aerial tramway, and then on to Crawford Notch State Park, where you will get fantastic views of imposing Mount Washington. Continue to the town of Conway, where there will be free time to browse the shops, taking advantage of the favourable exchange rate, before returning to Lincoln along the incredibly scenic Kancamagus Highway. DAY 7 - Today take the optional excursion to the state of Vermont, with its gentle scenery. Stop at the Morse Farm Maple Sugarworks to learn how maple trees are tapped for their sap, which is then used to produce maple syrup and sugar, and a tasting of Maple on Snow. Continue to the town of Stowe, where you will have lunch at the Trapp Family Lodge. This large Austrian chalet and resort was built, and is still run, by the Von Trapp family, who were immortalised in the film `The Sound of Music'. DAY 8 - Travel back to Boston, where you will have free time for shopping before your flight home. DAY 9 - Arrive back in the UK.
