Discover the sights of Toronto, Canadas largest city, wonder at the awesome power and natural beauty of the thundering Niagara Falls and prepare to be thrilled by vibrant New York, a true 24 hour city, on this exciting holiday. Theres plenty of free time for shopping whilst youre in the Big Apple, and combined with fantastic sightseeing opportunities, this holiday really is great value for money.
YoUr itiNErarY DaY 1 - Depart on your scheduled flight to Toronto. On arrival transfer to your hotel for a two night stay. DaY 2 - Toronto is Canadas commercial and cultural centre, and a city of contrasting modern and Victorian architecture. Its home to lots of great sights, not least the 1,815ft high CN Tower, the worlds tallest free-standing structure. We include a morning city sightseeing tour, featuring the sky Dome, the City hall and Parliament Building. We also call at the CN Tower, where you can take an optional ride to the top for terrific views over the city and Lake Ontario. DaY 3 - Depart Toronto for our included visit to the spectacular Niagara Falls. The Falls are divided into two parts, Canadian and American. The Canadian Falls are larger at 180ft high, with a crest of 2,200ft forming a horseshoe-shaped curve. After time to enjoy this awesome spectacle we cross the border into America and continue to rochester for an overnight stay. DaY 4 - Morning departure for the Big Apple, New York City, for a two night stay. DaY 5 - We include a sightseeing tour to introduce you to this amazing city, taking you from Midtown to Battery Park. Along the way you will see Broadway, Times square, the empire state Building, Greenwich Village, Chinatown, the Bowery and Wall street. You are then free to explore the city yourself and to enjoy our fabulous optional excursions. Why not take a cruise around Manhattan, visit harlem, take the ferry across to the statue of Liberty, or even enjoy a helicopter ride over the famous skyline (subject to local conditions). Alternatively stroll down Fifth Avenue, admire the shops such as the world renowned Tiffanys and Saks 5th Avenue. For your evening entertainment there are many shows to choose from and, of course, New York is renowned for its variety of restaurants. This afternoon is free for sightseeing or to take one of the many available optional excursions. DaY 6 - Free until a late afternoon transfer to the airport for your return flight to the UK DaY 7 - Arrival in the UK.
