See historic Cape Town, with its majestic Table Mountain, explore the stunning beauty of the Garden Route, drive through the tribal kingdoms of Zululand and neighbouring Swaziland, take a game drive in Kruger National park, and visit pretoria, South Africas administrative capital.
Your ItInerarY tueSDaY 23rd - Depart on your overnight scheduled flight to Cape Town. cHrIStMaS eVe - Arrival in Cape Town. There will be a short orientation tour of the city prior to transferring to your hotel for a three night stay. Rest of the day is free to relax. cHrIStMaS DaY - Today there will be a half day optional excursion to the Winelands, through vineyard covered valleys and along scenic country roads. Wine tasting is included. This evening we include a special Christmas dinner. BoXInG DaY - Today we have included a full day excursion, starting with a cable car ride to the top of Table Mountain for breathtaking views of the Cape. This will be followed by a drive to the Cape of Good Hope, visiting Simons Town and the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens before returning to Cape Town. SaturDaY 27th - Today we drive to the charming town of Swellendam where a visit to the local museum is included before arriving in Oudtshoorn for an overnight stay. game parks. Free to relax or join an optional game drive. SunDaY 4th - Morning included game drive. This afternoon you will travel to Hazyview for a two night stay. Dinner is included this evening. MonDaY 5th - Today you will enjoy some magnificent scenery as you drive into the mountains. You will be able to view Bourkes Luck Potholes, Gods Window, which on a clear day offers spectacular views over the Low Veld, and Blyde River Canyon (dinner included). tueSDaY 6th - Morning departure for the drive to Pretoria. On arrival there will be a short panoramic city tour. Continue to Johannesburg airport for your return flight to the UK. WeDneSDaY 7th - Arrival in the UK. Your HoteLS You will stay in good quality hotels in South Africa, including the Cape Town Hollow Hotel in Cape Town, the Queens Hotel in Oudtshoorn, the Log Inn in Knysna, the Sibaya Hotel near Durban, Hluhluwe Hilltops Lodge in Hluhluwe, the Lugogo Sun Hotel in Swaziland, the Pestana Melalane Lodge on the border of the Kruger National Park, and the Sabi River Sun Lodge in Hazyview. SunDaY 28th - Today there will be an included sightseeing tour of the area Oudtshoorn. This includes the spectacular Cango Caves and a guided visit to an Ostrich Farm. This afternoon continue to Knysna where two nights accommodation has been arranged. MonDaY 29th - Enjoy an included cruise on the Knysna Lagoon today (weather permitting). tueSDaY 30th - Take a scenic drive along the Garden Route including a photo stop at Plettenberg Bay. You will then be taken to the Tsitsikamma National Park. You will then fly to Durban for an overnight stay. neW YearS eVe - Continue through Zululand to Hluhluwe. A visit to a Zulu Kraal is included. Overnight accommodation and dinner included. neW YearS DaY - An included morning game drive in an open vehicle in Hluhluwe Game Reserve, famous for white rhino, before crossing the border into Swaziland where you stay overnight. FrIDaY 2nd JanuarY 2009 - This morning you will drive through the capital of Swaziland, Mbabane. Continue northwards into South Africa again and drive towards Kruger National Park, where two nights accommodation has been arranged. SaturDaY 3rd - Kruger National Park is an internationally renowned game reserve, with the greatest variety of animals of any of the African
