Your ItInerarY tueSDaY 23rd - Depart on your scheduled flight to Prague for a four night stay. Dinner at the hotel this evening. CHrIStMaS eVe - Our included guided walking tour of Prague takes us to see the main sights including Wenceslas Square, the old town and the Charles Bridge. Your afternoon is free before returning to the hotel for a festive dinner this evening. CHrIStMaS DaY - Relax or join an optional guided walking tour of Prague Castle, then stroll back to the old town via Golden Lane with time to explore at your own pace. This evening enjoy a special Christmas Day dinner at a local restaurant. BoXInG DaY - At leisure or join our optional excursion to Karlstejn Castle, Charles IVs magnificent country castle, designed to keep relics of saints and the imperial crown jewels secure. The replica crown of St. Wenceslas is on show here. Access to the castle is either by horse and carriage or minibus, or a pleasant walk. SaturDaY 27th - We visit the beautiful, medieval town of Cesky Krumlov en route for a three night stay in Vienna. Dinner at the hotel this evening. SunDaY 28th - Our included city tour of Vienna, Austrias elegant capital, takes in the Schönbrunn Palace, Opera House, Hofburg Palace, Musikverein and more. The afternoon is free. Perhaps go window shopping along the Mariahilferstrasse, or relax over a traditional Austrian coffee and a slice of the famous Sacher Torte, before returning to your hotel. MonDaY 29th - At leisure or join our optional half day scenic tour of the Vienna Woods and a visit to the old spa town of Baden. Take an optional evening transfer into Vienna to enjoy the city by night. tueSDaY 30th - We drive to the historic town of Eisenstadt, capital of Austrias Burgenland region, before continuing to Budapest for a three night stay. Dinner at the hotel this evening. neW YearS eVe - Hungarys fascinating capital is exquisitely set out on both sides of the Danube, with the modern buildings and busy streets of Pest on one side and the historic quarters of Buda on the other. Our included guided tour of the major sights includes Heroes Square, the Fishermans Bastion and St. Matthias Church. This evening we enjoy the New Year celebrations with live music in a traditional Hungarian restaurant. neW YearS DaY - Relax or join an optional excursion to the Danube Bend, one of the most scenic stretches of the river, and discover the historic riverside towns of Esztergom, Visegrad and Szentendre. FrIDaY 2nd JanuarY 2009 - Transfer to Budapest for your return flight to the UK. Your HotelS You will stay at the cozy Villa Hotel in Prague, Hotel Budapest in Budapest, and the comfortable hotel Hotel Trend Messe in Vienna. All hotels have a restaurant and bar and the bedrooms feature private facilities, TV and telephone.
