Your ItInerarY tueSDaY 23rd - Depart on your scheduled flight to Toulouse, then transfer to your hotel in Albi for a five night stay. Dinner is included tonight. CHrIStMaS eVe - Today we include a guided walking tour of historic Albi, taking in the sights of the medieval quarter and the Cathedral of St. Cecile, one of the most remarkable gothic cathedrals in the world. This evening we enjoy a special French-style Christmas Eve dinner. CHrIStMaS DaY - Today join our three-quarter day included excursion to the vibrant city of Toulouse and its fabulous Christmas markets at Place du Capitole. Look out for the mellow pink brick buildings, its huge Town Hall, ornate Renaissance mansions and splendid churches. Tonight there will be a festive Christmas Day dinner at your hotel. BoXInG DaY - Included today is a full day tour to the dramatic town of Carcassonne. Surrounded by a turreted wall, this fortress town has narrow streets and offers stunning views of the surrounding countryside from its battlements. You will also visit the pretty town of Castres for a stroll through the charming riverside quarter. SaturDaY 27th - Free to relax and explore Albi independently, or join our optional excursion to two of the Ville-Bastides, or fortified towns, along the River Dordogne photogenic Najac with its castle perched on the top of the hill, and Cordes, one of the oldest and best-preserved bastides. SunDaY 28th - Transfer to Toulouse airport for your return flight to the UK.
