Opatija is an elegant holiday resort with a lovely seafront promenade, marvellous gardens, and a good range of shops, bars and restaurants. Your ItInerarY MonDaY 22nd - Depart on your scheduled flight to Venice. Transfer from Italy through Slovenia into Croatia to the resort of Opatija on the Istrian Peninsula for a seven night stay. Welcome drink and dinner this evening. tueSDaY 23rd to SunDaY 28th - Free to relax and enjoy our great excursions. The following are included: Opatija Orientation - An introductory walking tour around the town. Istrian Discovery - A full day tour of the Istrian peninsula, featuring the Roman ruins of Pula, delightful Rovinj and historic Porec. The following excursions are optional: Ljubljana & Lake Bled - A full day excursion to the delightful capital of Slovenia, with its baroque old town, and beautiful Lake Bled. Postojna Caves & Lipica Stud Farm (Slovenia) - A full day visit to the breathtaking caverns of Postojna. Continue to the Lipica Stud Farm, where the famous white Lipizzaner horses are bred. Plitvice Lakes - A full day of sightseeing amid the glorious lakes, waterfalls and forests of Croatias Plitvice National Park. MonDaY 29th - Transfer to the airport for your return flight to the UK.
