A Christmas break in Austrias fabulous capital city, vienna, really does have something for everyone. Staying in five star comfort right in the heart of the city, you are ideally placed to discover the famous Prater big wheel and elaborate palaces or simply relax in the cafés with their rich cakes and aroma of freshly-brewed coffee. A host of museums and art galleries, Strauss waltzes, wonderful shopping and the mighty Danube complete the picture.
Your ItInerarY CHrIStMaS eVe - Depart on your scheduled flight to Vienna. On arrival we include a panoramic tour of the city before transferring to your hotel for a four night stay. Time to freshen up prior to your four course dinner at the hotel, accompanied by piano music. CHrIStMaS DaY - Optional three-quarter day tour of the beautiful Wachau Valley visiting Melk, famous for its magnificent abbey. In the evening enjoy a three course festive meal in the hotel followed by an optional Vienna by Night tour. BoXInG DaY - A half day optional scenic tour of the Vienna Woods visiting the spa town of Baden. Included Heurige evening with wine and music its a great night! SaturDaY 27th - Day at leisure to explore this fabulous city or join our optional tour to Semmering, a delightful ski resort set high on a mountain pass south of Vienna. We return to Vienna in time for a farewell evening concert of Strauss and dinner at the Kursalon, just opposite your hotel. SunDaY 28th - Transfer to the airport for your return flight to the UK.

Your Hotel You will stay in the superb five star deluxe Radisson SAS Palais Hotel situated on the historic Ringstrasse, overlooking the Citypark, just minutes from the State Opera and St. Stephens Cathedral. Converted from two former palaces originally built in 1872, this impressive hotel boasts a gourmet restaurant, café and lobby bar where a pianist plays each evening. Additionally there is a fitness centre on the 8th floor where guests can enjoy a massage or beauty treatment in the Vendome Spa (at extra cost). All bedrooms have been designed to reflect a former era but still feature modern amenities including heated bathroom floors, satellite TV, minibar and safe.

Transformed from a 16th century castle into a superb quality hotel, the Schlosshotel Rosenegg is a unique setting for a festive holiday.
Your ItInerarY FrIDaY 19th - Depart on your scheduled flight to Munich and transfer to your hotel for a seven night stay. Enjoy a welcome cocktail before a four course dinner. SaturDaY 20th - This morning we include a tour to stylish Kitzbühel. In the afternoon, join our orientation walk around Fieberbrunn. Tonight enjoy a traditional Tirolean evening. SunDaY 21st - At leisure or join our optional three-quarter day trip to Zell am See, before returning to the hotel for a four course dinner followed by a torchlit walk with hot punch. MonDaY 22nd - Relax or join our optional half day tour to the historic town of Rattenberg and its famous glass-blowing centre. Special Schlossherrenbuffet with music this evening. tueSDaY 23rd - We include a three-quarter day excursion to Salzburg for a guided tour and free time to explore this beautiful and historic city. Four course dinner at the hotel this evening. CHrIStMaS eVe - Relax or join our optional three-quarter day excursion to Innsbruck, the Austrian Tirols delightful capital. This evening enjoy a Christmas concert, before a special Christmas Eve dinner at the hotel. CHrIStMaS DaY - At leisure. Enjoy a lunch and a four course dinner with music and dancing this evening.

BoXInG DaY - Transfer to the airport for your return flight to the UK. Your Hotel You will stay in the excellent four star Schlosshotel Rosenegg, situated on the edge of the lovely village of Fieberbrunn. Facilities include several lifts, lounge and bar area. There is a superb indoor swimming pool, sauna and steam bath and at extra cost a solarium, massage room and health programme.
