Your ItInerarY tueSDaY 23rd - Local departure and a midmorning crossing to Calais. Continue to Bonn, arriving at your hotel for a four night stay in time for a welcome drink and dinner this evening. CHrIStMaS eVe - Free to relax or join our optional three-quarter day excursion. We start with a visit to Bonns old town, with its delightful Town Hall in the market square, and continue to the wonderful city of Cologne, famous for its impressive Gothic Cathedral. Return to the hotel for a traditional Christmas Eve buffet dinner this evening. CHrIStMaS DaY - Today we include a half day excursion to the beautiful Ahr Valley, one of the prettiest regions of Germany, with its vine-clad slopes that are the source of the areas delicious red wines. Enjoy a festive Christmas dinner at the hotel this evening. BoXInG DaY - Join our optional three-quarter day excursion along the upper Rhine Valley and through Remagen, where you will stop at the Ludendorff Bridge, captured by American troops in 1945 and now home to a museum and memorial. We continue through the picturesque riverside village of Linz to Koblenz. This famous city lies at the confluence of the rivers Rhine and Moselle, known as the Deutsches Eck, and
