Set in the plunging valley of the River Semois, Bouillon is one of the most picturesque towns of the Ardennes. An ancient castle guards the narrow streets lined with shops and restaurants where you can try the local cuisine and perhaps sample superb local beers at the brewery. Your historic hotel, with many of its original features tastefully restored, is a delightful place to relax and enjoy the Christmas festivities.
Your ItInerarY tueSDaY 23rd - Local departure and a midmorning crossing to Calais. Early evening arrival in Bouillon for a four night stay. Dinner at the hotel. CHrIStMaS eVe - Free to explore Bouillon. You can learn more about the towns history at the Archeoscope, stroll round the fortified medieval castle, or join our optional visit to the brewery to taste the superb local beers. This evening enjoy a festive four course dinner with music and dancing. You can join the locals at Midnight Mass if you wish. CHrIStMaS DaY - Join our included half day scenic drive through the beautiful Semois Valley passed the picturesque villages of Rochehaut and Poupehand to Botassart, a local beauty spot known as the Giants Tomb. This evening we enjoy the Christmas party atmosphere at a festive five course dinner with music and dancing. BoXInG DaY - This morning we include a visit to the pretty town of La Roche-en-Ardennes where you can explore the local walking trails, or simply relax in a typical café and try the local speciality, Ardennes cured ham. SaturDaY 27th - Depart and head back to Calais and your return crossing to the UK, returning to your original departure point in the evening.

Your Hotel You will stay at the popular four star Hotel de la Poste in the centre of Bouillon overlooking the River Semois. The hotel has a bar, restaurant, lounge and lift. All bedrooms feature private facilities, TV and telephone.

Festive Christmas Eve dinner in the evening at your hotel. CHrIStMaS DaY - Relax or why not join our included scenic drive through the Eifel Hills to visit the medieval town of Bad Münstereifel, a lovely little spot full of traditional buildings. Traditional Christmas dinner in the evening, followed by a party night. BoXInG DaY - Included three-quarter day excursion through the serene and peaceful Moselle Valley, visiting the famous wine town of Cochem. Included wine tasting in the evening at the hotel. SaturDaY 27th - Depart after breakfast for a late afternoon crossing back to the UK and continue to your original departure point in the evening.

Your Hotel You will stay in the comfortable medium grade Hotel Zum Weissen Kreuz, a firm Travelsphere favourite. Run by the Hoppe family, this traditionally styled hotel is centrally located in Altenahr and facilities include a bar, restaurant, lift and function room. All bedrooms are comfortably furnished with private facilities, telephone, TV and some have a balcony.
