Your ItInerarY MonDaY 22nd - Local departure and a mid-morning crossing to Calais. Overnight stay in northern France. tueSDaY 23rd - Continue via Strasbourg, crossing into Switzerland at Basel. Arrive at Wildhaus in the early evening for a four night stay. Welcome drink and dinner. CHrIStMaS eVe - Why not celebrate Christmas with a memorable train ride along the tracks of the spectacular Glacier Express route? Enjoy the mountain scenery as you travel from Chur to the famous ski resort of St. Moritz. Please request tickets at the time of booking (at extra cost). Festive Christmas Eve dinner back at your hotel in the evening. CHrIStMaS DaY - Included half day scenic tour with the opportunity to take a spectacular cable car ride (at extra cost). Traditional Christmas dinner this evening in the hotel. BoXInG DaY - Optional three-quarter day circular tour through the Appenzellerland region visiting the delightful town of Appenzell. We also visit the Austrian town of Feldkirch with its picturesque arcaded squares. SaturDaY 27th - Leave Wildhaus after breakfast and return to France for an overnight stay.

SunDaY 28th - Continue to Calais for a late afternoon return crossing back to the UK, returning to your original departure point in the evening. Your Hotel The Hotel Hirschen in Wildhaus is set in a commanding position with spectacular views over the Toggenburg mountain range and the valley below. The hotels excellent leisure facilities include two bars, a restaurant, sun terrace, lift, two bowling alleys and a fitness centre with spa pool and sauna. Bedrooms are comfortably furnished including TV and telephone and the majority have a balcony.

Arrive in Lucerne in the early evening for a four night stay. Welcome drink and dinner. CHrIStMaS eVe - Included orientation walk around Lucerne with an optional boat trip on the lake available. Festive Christmas Eve dinner back in the hotel. CHrIStMaS DaY - Included half day excursion to spectacular Engelberg, high in the mountains. Dont miss the chance to take the rotating cable car up Mount Titlis to a height of 10,000ft (at extra cost). Traditonal Christmas dinner in your hotel in the evening. BoXInG DaY - Optional full day excursion featuring a spectacular ride on the famous Glacier Express. We board the train at Andermatt and head east along one of the most scenic stretches of the line. The train crosses the 6,560ft high Oberalp Pass and takes you on a breathtaking scenic adventure. Please request tickets at the time of booking. SaturDaY 27th - Leave Lucerne after breakfast and visit Strasbourg before reaching your
overnight hotel in northern France, on a bed and breakfast basis. SunDaY 28th - Continue to Calais for a late afternoon return crossing to the UK, returning to your original departure point in the evening. Your Hotel You will stay in the Hotel Central, conveniently located close to the old town of Lucerne and the lakeside promenade. Hotel amenities include restaurant, bar and lift. All bedrooms feature private facilities, hairdryer, tv, telephone safe and minibar.
